Popular Post redambrosia
First up is my bones hydra. This guy was supposed to be for last year's Dragon challenge, but I'm a platinum member of the Procrastinator's of the USA club. I wanted him to be a desert dragon and have lizardy patterns. I quite like how he turned out. Next up I have a couple of my translucent fire walls. One is from the kickstarter, then I bought a set of three more so we can have fire everywhere! Next up is Talisha Highbringer. She's for my character in our spelljammer campaign. Her name right now is Experiment 143, because she can't remember anything from her past. She has a fun alternative form, a bionoid, which I've been working on. But here's her elfy form. I love the blue! And lastly, and pretty proudly, here's Boz, another character from out spelljammer campaign. He's a Sea Hawk. Hubby's buddy loves the Sea Hawks, can you tell? I think it's a GW sculpt. It had a weird face thing on the side of it's head which I sculpted feathers over and gave him a lower beak. The arm is from... something else. And the wings are from the feathered wings pack from reaper, with feathers sculpted by me between the wings. Oh, and I also sculpted the feet in too. Quite pleased with him over all

Erifnogard
That Hydra is gorgeous in an 'Oh my god, I don't want to be ambushed by that' sort of way. Love that coloration choice you made.

Moderator Guindyloo Posted June 27, 2014 Moderator Share Posted June 27, 2014 The hydra is my favourite as well, but I also really, really love the detailing on the Sea Hawk!

EvilJames
Love the Hydra and the flames. Really impressed with the moding on the seahawk. I would love to see a picture of what he started out as. Also: Yay Spelljammer! Sadly my Spelljammer campaign petered out due to jobs and such getting in the way.

redambrosia
I found it! The bird guy was a Tzeentch Sorcerer. Here's his original version (which I didn't paint, I have no idea who did, just found this on the googlez): Mine didn't come with the arm holding the staff. Instead he came on top a whirlwind! Yay for ebay!

Sanael
This is all very nice, but the freehand on that birdman's backside is really something else! Looks great!
KruleBear
You made an ugly GW sculpt into a thing of beauty.
Kangaroorex
Great job. I absolutely love the seahawk! The hydra also looks terrific. The earth colors make for a realistic beast
NomadZeke
The Sea Hawk just reminds of of Shining Force with Amon and Balbory...except it looks a bit tougher and meaner.
