This is my second artistic effort in the past 14 months and I'm working hard to shake off the dust.

Wow! Beautiful work on her.  I love the eyes, the different shades on her scales, and the shading and highlighting on her wings is awesome.

Good choice of colors, I especially like her skin and wings, but it all works very well together. Love what you did with the face, she looks properly horrific.

Thank you so much! I'm starting to feel my brush control coming back and am remembering little techniques that I was working on when I went on painting hiatus 14 months ago. It pains me to think about the number of minis that I could have painted during that time but alas...no use crying over spilled milk. Instead, I'm just going to put my energy into all these Bones now!!

I hear you, Adrift. Even though I've been painting, it's been very on-and-off and I'm way out of practice. Still working on my first miniature after Reapercon, and it's not like it's anything involved!

Thanks! Free-handing the eyes and the teeth were big goals. In general, more freehand is a goal moving forward.

Despite your hiatus and a bit of rust, there's a lot to be happy with on her. I like your take, and it painted up purty!
