Lenore, Hasslefree Miniatures

Recommended Posts

This is Lenore from Hasslefree Miniatures. I should thin my paints more since the finish is a bit blotchy but overall I'm quite pleased with the outcome. It's a great miniature that was easy to paint.

CashWiley removed the frontal due to nudity (still in my mind an incredibly silly policy, considering how many nudes Reaper sells, but okay).

Perhaps Cash can link the frontal pics, since it occurs to me that the OP may not realize this has happened?

[mod]I removed the attached photos due to clearly visible nipples. Yes, Reaper sells topless minis; no that doesn't alter the acceptable content rules of the forum. I can change the images to links if you host off-site, but if you attach them to the post I cannot and delete them. I do highly recommend linking them, they were great!

I normally write this in a PM, but after the board change a while back, Patrick's umlauted o shows up as an invalid character so I can't PM him. But it's a good reminder for everyone to read over the forum Guidelines and Suggestions:

Acceptable Content

Remember, this is a family forum and to keep it such, please think about what you post. If your mini/sketch/picture has nudity please do not post the picture, instead provide a link to the picture and plenty of warning to the viewer. We will remove your images if you fail to comply with this. Additionally, censoring your images with black out strips (or any other option) isn't allowed, they must be linked.

Could we instead of removing the photo, turn it into a link or is that not a possibility?

--- edit ---

Went and google image "Lenore from Hasslefree Miniatures". I saw the thumbnail version of it. I see...

Let's respect Cash's decision doing his moderation job and hope that Patrik will link the show-off to an outside hosting site to show it off properly guys and gals.

the figure still appears in Patrik's WIP thread.

[MOD]thank you for pointing out it was cross posted. That has been rectified.

Our decision stands. The image violated our policy, and has been removed. If the OP choses to post it as a link, it can be shared again. Further discussion in thread on the matter will be culled.[/MOD]

Woops! I didn't realise that the pictures violated the forum rules. Sorry for that. I've reposted the two missing pictures with links.

I also noticed that I've got a functioning user name again. Thanks! :)

      Hi folks!

Today I started painting #03836 "Jakob Janssen, Monk" for our friend Jakob. Sending him some good vibes during this time and excited to finish this and ship it his way! I started with skintones and I'm currently working on painting him with a big ol' George Clooney smile

I want to finalize my color scheme but I'm really struggling! Many great painters have already posted photos of their version of this mini and I want to do something different than what's already been done. Here are the three I'm considering:

The traditional Shaolin monk color scheme Iron Fist (Marvel) color scheme? (green & yellow) Halfling Monk (Pathfinder) color scheme? (green, red/orange, yellow with freehand insanity) Others??
HALP! The more options I research, the less decisive I get. Going to check back in tonight to see what folks think since I'll need to decide before my livestream tomorrow morning. At the end of the day, no matter what color scheme I choose, I'll do my absolute best to make sure it's something that will hopefully bring @JakobJanssen some creative joy   I'll check back in soon. Thanks in advance for your thoughts & suggestions!!

This finally gave me something to use my larger Games Workshop skulls on. I may try to give his hair another highlight of something brighter, as it looks pretty dull at the moment. A fun evil mage that I hope to use as a boss battle one day.

These two were mostly done a while ago (along with their buddy Darkrasp). It's just taken me a while to work up the courage to paint the scroll and spellbook and get them off my shelf of shame!

Been on a painting spree these last few months, in fact Cassie is mini 52 painted so far this year, out of my original goal of painting 50 all year.

First up is Elliwyn Heatherlark, Gnome Bard (SKU 77164) which is the bones version.  The details were a bit soft, but she is totally serviceable for table-top.

Next up, Blink Berenwicket (SKU 3689), the super spunky female gnome warrior in metal.  The sword didn't really turn out, and I should have had a side view...  Metals are shaded metallics.

And last but not least, Cassie, Female Gnome Wizard (SKU 77031) in bones and mini number 52 of the year.
