RENAISSANCE FAIR (NOVELTY PIECE)...(THE ROAD TO FAR FAR AWAY)...This is the 19th piece in my Ren Fair project.

CREDIT...Full credit for the suggestions for this piece are given to member Darsc...who suggested that I;

                                      A.  Do a road with a mile marker...

                                      B.  Do a road with overhanging limbs...

So I took the two suggestions and this is the piece that I came up with...hope you all like it!

Hah! Looks like a great starting point for an adventure! ::D:

Very nice Catdancer. You've given the scene your trademark fantastical twist. I like it.

Those trees branches remind my very much of photos I've seen of trees in the bayou.

Darsc...thank you as always! I am very happy that I did not disappoint you (your suggested ideas) for/in the creation of this piece. And yes, the trees were done from my memory of one of my old stomping grounds in the bayous...spent many a good times there visiting an old friend from the service.

I LOVE it. It's a DELIGHTFULLY whimsical, BEAUTIFULLY crafted piece. VERY WELL DONE!

malefactus...thank you for your comments and feedback! I really enjoyed creating this piece...everything just seemed to flow with the mushrooms, flowers, ladybugs, butterflies and the old tree with the hanging moss...this piece not only sang to me...it delivered a full opera!

It's whimsical.  It reminds me of Pogo, that sort of fairy tale element Walt Kelly sneaked into his art.

I found a big stash of Pogo books a couple of days ago. They are probably from the 1960's.
