My quickest turnaround from purchase to finished yet! Recieved the order this monday and completed it yesterday. I've painted this up as the miniature for a friends character in an upcoming DnD campaign. Quite pleased with the result and I kind of want to create a character of my own and use this to represent him...

Nicely done!  I especially like the runes on the back of the shield, they add just the right touch.

That's a cool figure and you did a great job on the painting/basing of him. I also really like the runes on the shield, very cool!

Nice job on this figure!  You've done a fine job on all those belts (I find those difficult and time consuming).  As others have noted, the freehand you did on the shield was an excellent idea.

Thanks! The free hand felt like it took forever with lots and lots of redos. My first attempt was to try something like this or this but had to abandon the idea because I just couldn't do it. My second attempt was to have the "runes" in a circle at the outer rim of the shield. It did look a bit  better but in the end I don't have the control to make seemingly round circles. At the end I settled for a square (since they're much easier :) and went with that. I like the result but I really wish I could do something better with freehand.

Great paint job. I'm impressed with that turn around. Don't think I have ever managed something that fast!

Very very nice! The dark lining gives it a very clean look, overall.
