[SPLIT] Bones 2 Pre-Shipping Excitement

Recommended Posts

Done it.

It is in the same sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15cWkcTjSYuZNWngjdNUFhm7INcw8zKmUOk-rdN350VU/edit?usp=sharing

In a collumn named Kickstarter #.

One thing I couldn´t find is the actual (non-ks) name of the greys (they aren´t in the previews) so I can´t tell wich one is scientist, warrior or leader).

Other than that, I think is correct, if someone finds something that doesn´t add, please contact me.

That's interesting. Any chance these numbers are cross referenced anywhere? I'm just trying to put names to pictures. Getting an idea of who is who.

I have it on a spreadsheet, and apparently so does Naponatom.

Ultimately, the numbers on the KS pictures exist 100% for Customer Service. If there is a problem with your reward (Which with 6,000,000 miniatures among 14,000 orders we're fairly sure will happen more than once) it will be a simple matter for the backer to look at the graphic and tell us which model is missing/damaged.

We did this because of our experience with Bones I. It was nearly impossible for recipients to tell us which model was missing/damaged with any consistency. "Third model in in the X group" or "The one with the thing in it's hand". It took them a long time to figure out how to explain which figure was a problem, and us a long time to be sure we understood it was the same figure the customer was trying to say. This numbering system exists solely for that purpose - to make it easier for us to fix any problems that come up.  It was never intended that the numbers used in the images match the retail numbers - in fact we deliberately chose a numbering sequence that was not identical to our part number sequence, and provided a part # for each time - even in cases where more than one figure will be in the same package (as with the Stalagmites).

I almost grabbed a third DDS2 but then I couldn't figure out how to explain that to my wife.. ;)

"A man has needs."

I use that to justify a lot of things. New computer mouse? "I have needs!" New hat? "Needs." Wings and Beer on Friday? "Needs."

As long as she doesn't finish with "You *need* to sleep on the couch tonight", it's all good.

I fall asleep on the couch all the time, that threat is meaningless. On the couch, I don't get kicked, have the blankets stolen, or get attacked by popsicle feet.
With all the stories of being kicked to the couch, I had purchased a real comfortable couch when I was with my ex. Super comfortable. But I never had to sleep on it because my ex hated sleeping alone. So get that was meaningless. XD

On the other hand, my roommates are starting to get annoyed by the plethora of boxes I have accumulated. With bones incoming, they may start burying me under boxes if I had order a large order. XD

That is a very smart and clever idea. I love little things like this. ::):

My wife and I both have discretionary spending accounts. I can do anything I want with mine, even withdraw the money from the account and set it on fire, and she has no right to comment. Hers is called "Yarn" and she mostly spends it on crafting supplies and pedicures. Mine is called "Transformers" and I mostly spend it on toys and kickstarters.

I just have to make my minis fit current available store systems. Otherwise the husband will be put out.

Though he has joked about making the minis into furniture, or building the house out of minis.

I bought a Grab & Go storage box by Creative Options from Michael's and it fit my entire original Vampire set AND all I have to do is grab the handle and bring it to wherever I am gaming that night.  They are actually on sale now for $25 and if at some point it isnt you can always use the 40% off coupon.  Im thinking about getting a second one for KS2.

Does 91001: Stone from Bones II remind anyone else of Cole from Brom's Devil's Rose or Roland from The Dark Tower?

Definitely excited to get my hands on a good gunslinger Bones mini so I can expand my current campaign into something a bit more... surreal ^_^

Oddly enough, Stone reminded me of 'Slim Razor' from the movie House 2 of all things:  Slim

Stone is a lot closer to Cole or (as noted above) Slim Razor than he is to Roland - Stone in Savage Worlds/Deadlands is, well, dead, to begin with...

(Not saying you couldn't paint the feller up as still breathing, of course...)
