[SPLIT] Bones 2 Pre-Shipping Excitement

Recommended Posts

Does 91001: Stone from Bones II remind anyone else of Cole from Brom's Devil's Rose or Roland from The Dark Tower?

Definitely excited to get my hands on a good gunslinger Bones mini so I can expand my current campaign into something a bit more... surreal ^_^

Stone is a lot closer to Cole or (as noted above) Slim Razor than he is to Roland - Stone in Savage Worlds/Deadlands is, well, dead, to begin with...

(Not saying you couldn't paint the feller up as still breathing, of course...)

He should be similar to Cole. Deadlands was inspired by a painting of Cole for a White Wolf book. Brom would use other pictures of Cole for the Deadlands brand. The linked picture is from the cover of Deadlands. Cole was often used to depict Stone.

I have my computer set to give a special kingly fanfare when a Reaper Kickstarter message comes in.

Almost gave myself an atomic wedgie getting to my computer today when it announced a kickstarter message coming in.

Ok, now I appreciate knowing about new kickstarters.... but right now the false alarms are torture.

I wonder if sending cookies to the customs people would help.

I will remind myself patience is a virtue...  :upside:

Must...contain...excitement...

Watching the videos of the BIG minis, as well as looking over the visual display of them on the Kickstarter page, probably is not helping me do this.  ::D:

Huzzah!

That they will. That's the attitude I'm taking, too.

At least until someone starts posting unboxing pics/vids. Then, all bets are off.

I plan on posting a video of me rolling around on the contents of my Bones 2 order. I imagine there will be a lot of, "Ow! Something poked me!" while I do it, though...

Okay,

I just want to understand how the whole wave/order number comes into play. If I understand this correctly Reaper will simply sort (order) by wave 1st and order number 2nd. Thus, just because you have a high order number does not mean you'll be be way at the end of those to receive their Bones. In other words Wave trumps Order Number.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

P.S. Like I said in a different post, I am perfectly happy no matter where I end up in the shipping list.

All of the same wave is being done at the same time.

(for example all of Wave 1 then Wave 2.... until finished)

To the best of my knowledge, at this moment in time... (aka, I can be wrong and information is subject to change...)

Within the Waves, the sort order is by the time you locked in your pledge.

Order number does not come into play.

User number does not come into play.

And on top of that by my recollection of Bryan's past comments, if you happen to be the first lock-in filled at 9.01am you will go out to the mail truck at the same time (6pm) as if you were the final pledge that day (which could be say the 1000th lock-in). So being super first in the line doesn't change much for a given day's work order.

Looks like if they ship 1000 pledges per day, it will take 15 days to ship everything, 3 weeks (taking the weekends off).

Wave 1 - 2 days

Wave 2 - 2,5 days

Wave 3 - 2 days

Wave 4 - 2 days

Wave 5 - 2 days

Wave 6 - 2,25 days

Wave 7 - 1 day

Wave 8, 9 and 10 - 1 day

But probably they can do more than 1000.

Can´t wait to see the magic happening (as all know, we suck for Reaper´s everything, even numbers. Specially numbers!) :wow:
