Magnus Mercury
Edited to add: The forum only has 11,826 members, the kickstarter had 14,986 backers. That makes a 20% chance that any given test pledge was not actually a forum member. And that's assuming 100% of forumites were backers...
Arbiter10
Kristof, it's a 20% chance if every one of the forum members also pledged. Chances are that this is not the case, so, actually greater than 20% chance. edit: 'd by MM. Edited February 6, 2015 by Arbiter10
kristof65
True, I was just keeping things simple. There are other factors, too, like how many of those 11k are actually active forum members? Considering I'm still in the top 50 in terms of overall post count, and I haven't been all that active for the last year or so, I'd say the number of active posters are in the low thousands at best. And then to further complicate things, how many of our forum members have multiple pledges (I know at least a few of you do!). Anyway, I'd say the odds are pretty against any test cases ending up being one of the active folk here on the forum today, unless Bryan and crew picked the test cases based on names they recognized, rather than randomly.
Reaperbryan
I have officially pulled the first order. I have not yet applied a shipping label so nobody has their notice yet, but the first test of the system is complete. We're still putting in some of our conveyor belt system, so we're not at full-bore yet, but we're close! I will be coming in tomorrow to pull more orders, get a few more tests out of the way, make sure we're rock solid before Monday.
NomadZeke
You'll have a small horde of painters watching out the window for the UPS guy, much like a dog looking for its owner to come over the next few weeks. You know that, right? ...guilty.

Baphomet69
I just looked over what I'm getting via the Kickstarter page and got really frightened...fixed that for me! I just looked over what I'm getting via the Kickstarter page and got really excited... I did too, but I always feel a pang of regret I didn't get the kraken. Me too. :-( I always get it all to avoid that very feeling... I have officially pulled the first order. Cranky Dog
So is it time to invest into F5 replacement keys?
Baphomet69
Doesn't even have to be an f5. Mine stopped showing letter or number way back in the Bones I days... ;)

Most of what I want I'll just pick up at retail. That big ol Kraken is gonna be 'spensive tho. The downside to Bones 2 starting up right when I was deciding if I even enjoyed the hobby enough to invest money in it. Guess what? Turns out I did...and shoulda. Such is life. No email here either, not unexpected since I'm wave 9 and 10. :-p

Reaperbryan
One Shipping Label has been applied*. I'm having to work around the crew that's still installing the conveyors and the crew that is still getting boxes and supplies in place. *it was not a forumite. You can all stop F5ing obsessively until Monday. Also, we're going to try to get the Shipping Tracker that we used for KS1 working for KS2 over the weekend. If that goes well, there'll be a pretty counter for you all, and you can obsessively watch that instead.
