I've sometimes had my stuff in "packing" for what seemed way too long, but it was still a much shorter time than the time the orders spent in "processing."   I would suggest, however, shooting them an email asking for the status, if it is taking long, just to make sure someone didn't drop the ball and make sure it is still moving along.  You should hopefully get your stuff soon though.

I know what you mean Beagle. I just recently received the balance of my Metal Age stuff that had been in packing for a bit. It included the First Edition rulebook. That is one complicated book. I like the meat of this kind of game - I think - but the book could have used a bit better organization to aid in learning. I suppose it is better to get something out even if it could have been more polished. I want to try playing it if I ever find someone else who is interested.

I still have a decent sized order from New Kindreds as well that is waiting on a few sculpts being completed. So I don't even know when that one will go to the "packing" stage. Probably a couple months from now.

Now to try and paint all these guys, in addition to Bones figures I'm using in my D&D campaign. Oh yeah plus painting Dwarven Forge stuff that has been sitting years already. Sheesh. I'm still a novice, but I need to practice some speed painting skills.

I've asked Rob a number of times and he tells me he's on it. An inevitable outcome of running kickstarter after kickstarter I expect. I really think they should be focusing more on fulfillment rather than running new projects, but then if they desperately need the cash (I assume that's the reason they immediately ran 'Mighty Monsters Part Deux' after part one), then they do need to focus on income generation.

Technically correct, afaik, but only because he had already contracted the sculptor for Banbreca.

Anyway. This new guy Andrew May isn't doing much for me. Everyone has to build their skills somewhere, and I don't begrudge him that...but his skill level seems far below the norm for Mierce contractors. Just some really primitive sculpting, and Mierce's line tends to have very few of the old sculpting tropes (which is why I like it).

except for the whole "pile of skulls" thing.

I do love that bird man......

I was talking more about technical tropes; the old school way of doing fur, chintzy wraps, etc. The new guy's skills seem both more primitive and using the older style (that in my opinion is pretty played out, there are much better ways to sculpt most textures/things...maybe not easier, but better).

Again, if he's learning that's great. But I don't want to pay Mierce premium for basic stuff. I expect Chaudon/Zak/JAG level sculpting for the premium price.
