I got distracted from my inventory and assembled a Gnomic and a Despot.  The Gnomic is just as 'So ugly it's gorgeous' in person.

Eh, just finished my inventory, and the Gnomic is still ugly! (Apologies to Chris Lewis) The Falcon on the other hand? I wish I'd ordered two more than the three I got. It seems such a scrappy little overpowered puppy. I haven't checked the stats themselves, it's just the impression I get from holding it. Enjoyed the Thunderbirds as well, and there was another that was impressive in-hand, but I forget which one. They're all back in the box and I can't dump it again tonight to look. Too tired.

 

Did have to send email to Reaper as the core set was missing two of the tanks, but everything else was there. Not bad for an 85 piece order.

 

Now to decide to either paint them up one-by-one as the muse dictates, or set up some units that would be capable of going to the table and looking like a squad.

The Gnomic is ugly with character!  I only ordered 4 and already want more!

 

So far I know I'm missing one Despot out of my 16.  Will wait till I finish inventory on the rest to send email.

The Emperor has two left legs. No biggie, I can fix that, but it'll take a bit of work.

 

I think the Tsuiseki aircraft are gonna be Kickstarter exclusives, though... the plastic is NOT suited to the thin wings and tail assembly, and they look for all the world like they're made of silly putty. Half an hour of dinkin' with 'em using a hot hair dryer and cold water got 'em into shape, but they were a mess on arrival. Perhaps future moldings could be made of rigid Bonesium.

 

Aside from that, I'm ready to take on the Rach Imperium any day... even dug out my first edition rulebook...

Not for mine. The core set was in a big Ziploc bag, and that was where they were missing for me.

No note, no paperwork, nothing. Big ziploc bag with the core set, and the two other items I ordered were OUTSIDE the plastic bag.
