You know I think it might help if you put all the unlocked CAV's at the bottom some were and showed how much of an add on they were.   I have seen in some places were people have said they are interested in some of the models just not the whole core set.

I think they're waiting for the pledge manager to come online to do this (that was about the time they did this with the Bones 2 core). 

 

For now, if you take a look at the metal prices, and the add on prices, the add ons are about 25% of the metal price (give or take ~10%). So if you want to add money for extra copies of the core, you could add about 25% of the metal price for now.

Or just add $4 for the smaller ones and $5 for the larger ones.  If that is an over estimate, then we reach unlocks faster.  Win win!

I have a question about the Specter in the Core Set.

 

The ModList includes 2 Specters. Which specter is included in the Core Set?

What kind of weapons are those arm mounts on the Reaper? They're mighty impressive looking.

It is the Spector B. Those are Heavy Missiles in the Reaper "Arms"

Well this has actually picked up over the course of yesterday; I was expecting more of a flat-line. I Have to say there are bunches of super-sweet minis coming up and the 2x Imperator going in the core group for free can't have hurt either. Damn nice looking bunch!

So far it's been all CAV. Which is cool. It's cool to see some vehicles, too. But I expect that the infantry might make an appearance, too, and I'd REALLY like to see them, plus, they will up the model count a fair bit, yeah? Good for the "x$ per miniature" analysis...

 

Still, this is looking very, very ace, and I can't help but think that Reaper's huge reputation for stupidly good value KS's has given CAV the kind of boost CAV lovers have been craving for, basically, forever. The knock-on publicity from Bones I & II is the kind of thing CAV could never have bought for itself, not with all the will in the world from Reaper. Good show, Reaperpeeps.

Sweet. Good choice on the first tank models as the Despots were never made in actual 10mm. It will be nice to have those models in the right scale.

Would it be too crazy to wonder if a set of metalics, or even a NMM set might be in the works?
