Additionally, I think that only works specifically for individual add-ons. So, for example, you couldn't just pledge $1 today, then up it to $100 in April and expect to still get the core deal.

In the past, you could add literally anything [including a $1 pledger getting multiple core sets]...but once it hits the 'slacker backer' stage, then prices go up [if I had to guess, once they have to put in a change order for more pieces...at least that's the way it worked when I made cabinets].  I think Bones 1 went from $100 to ~$250 for the core set [and the sum total of individual pieces retailed for over $500, so was still a good deal].

You can do that actually but don't because I want to unlock hover tanks.

Always, always go in for what you can by the close date!  RPM doesn't count towards stretch goals, but it's nice when, say, the KS closes on the 27th and you don't get paid again until the 1st...

I got into a lot of trouble with those as a teenager, so that's not an option for me.  I could always do something like stiff the cable company for a week, though.  We'll see how things look as closing time comes around.

About half an hour.  Thankfully retention was kind of inept; instead of offering me a discount, tried to upsell, and didn't know how to respond to 'I have no moneys.'

I think the only problem with waiting to complete the pledge manager is that the early bird core sets won't ship until you've completed it.  Meaning that nothing will ship until it's finished.

If it means I can get an extra $100 in minis, I'll wait a couple weeks. :)

If you wait to complete the RPM until after we have already shipped everybody else's EB "Ace" reward, we won't necessarily be going back to ship yours - we don't get a notice that you completed your planager. Once we're done shipping the ~1,000 Aces, we won't look at the numbers again except in vague terms until fulfillment begins in earnest.
