Sorry if this was already discussed (if so, then I missed it), but the current lineup of unlocked (and upcoming) CAVs seems very focused on Terran and Rach units.  Was that intentional, or is that just the way it fell when the order of particular figures was determined?  I know Bryan mentioned in the KS comments that they were looking at particular models that were either hard to cast in metal, or that would benefit most from a cheaper Bones version.

It just seems a little odd to me, since the other factions don't really have a significant number of units to field a faction-specific force (aside from Malvernis, at least marginally).  It's like, "there are some other neat factions over here... um, that you can't really play just yet"...

Terran and Rach seemed to be the overall "favorites". I wanted to make sure we did our best to at least get two playable factions out of this to build on. We are very close to doing so. Later levels will jump around as we get more fan favorite models out the door so keep up with spreading the word!

So you're saying my Templar vote in that thread wasn't enough to sway ya?

Kidding of course.

Back in the beginning almost all CAVs had 2 crew (Pilot and Weapons System Operator(WSO)).

IIRC only the smallest of the Scout type CAVs had 1 crew.

And I would like to know if any of the Core8 are sized differently than the metal versions?

And can we get comparison pics with Kanjira and/or the Bones worm?

Thanks

Duly noted.  I wasn't planning on hanging on any later than mid-october [2 more paychecks], but I don't know where that fits into the schedule.  If I had funds to shuffle around I'd just do it that way.  More stretch goal stuffs that way.

If this goes like the Bones II KS then the pledge manager won't become the pledge calculator till the around second week of October anyway, it take 2-4 weeks for Reaper to get the info and money from Kickstarter and then Kit has to update the database and do the rest of his magic.  So no worries if you have to wait 1-2 weeks to be able to add funds, though from what Bryan said you might want to lock in as soon as you can with your extra money.

Yeah, canonically basically all CAVs have both a pilot and a wizzo (WSO). In most CAVs, they're seated in-line, so it's not obvious like on the Thunderbird. Other variations include the Mantis/Scorpion/Spider cockpit, where they're seated side-by-side. Or at least they used to, I see a lot of "CP1" on the sample datacards for SO...

I can do a Bones Worm (like Pre-Kickstarter Worm) but Khanjira hasn't made it out my way just yet, lol.

3/8 of the Initial Eight have a single crewman.
