What again is the procedure to ask a refund?

That is a major bummer, GP.    If you email Reaper's customer service email they should be more than willing to work with you.

I was ubder the impression that locking in early was necessary to get early shipments sent out.

if you have an Early Bird (white robots) you need to lock in early, there is a process for unlocking your pledge (believe it is e-mail them, they will unlock it) if you want to add more.

I was just wondering, though.  Does the CAV Core Set come with hex bases for the CAVs?  If not, are Reaper going to be doing up plastic bases?  I checked the Reaper online store, and buying enough of the current metal hex bases for the core set will cost almost as much as the core set itself!

Yes, it comes with Reaper manufactured Hex bases. Additional hex bases will be available in the future.

 

Reaper has just recently acquired several different molds for their in house injection machine that will produce a variety of different base styles (namely the ones featured in this KS and bones 2)

Reaper is soon going to be my go to source for plastic hex bases, if for no other reason than that I can just add them to one of my far too numerous orders as needed.

This is correct. there is not enough time to create all of the paints necessary for ACE wave shipping.  Paints ship when the balance of the orders ship.
