Love it -- thanks for doing this for us. Now if I could get a poster version for my wall :)

If you can find a printer that can print in 11x17 it makes for a nice sized wall hanging.

This is exactly what I did the first time with a laser printer at work, and it was printed on quality paper.

It makes for a huge printout, but having them all aligned gives a good idea of what you own or not.

Those are really nice. I really like the "family pairings" and would love manufacturers would do that as well.

I am thinking it would be even better if, those using those, would print them out and then, when getting a paint pot, use some primer on the square (like gesso) and paint a few thin coats on it. Real life paints vs the ability to reproduce color by screens or printers can show quite a bit of difference.

I think about this but I already went crazy on paint rack...

Seeing your paint collection, my first thought is: "I will never again need to mix paint, EVER!" Edited by ladystorm

I remember last year's paint swatch, and I had to manually identify which colors were from the Bones 1 collection to figure out which major color groups I was missing.

Thanks for the update!

Didn't realize that Solid White/Black were new colors. What are their characteristics compared to Pure White/Black? Simple HD formulation so more coverage?

Yup, I had to make a distinction since the KickStarter colors were not in my collection and I would not look for them on the rack.

I am just speculating here, but I would believe it has the HD formula. I really like having the different formulas with the coverage of the HD and blendability of the MSP.

Do you sort by color, product number or some other method? (it looks like product number)

Also, any chance for the limited edition paints (like those from the 12 Days of Reaper sales)?

Cranky, that is exactly why I went ahead and bought the whole.  I was tired of trying to keep a consistent color when I had to mix.

I just looked again and realized you used wooden rulers for the guards. GENIOUS!

PCK, Thanks  :blues:  :blues:  The yardsticks were actually more cost effective than buying stop moulding.

Talae, I sort in product number order.  It keeps the triads together for when I need that, and it make for quick grab and go.  I do not have any of the promotion paints or special issues like the 12 Days of Reaper.  If someone can send me the swatches, product number, and name, I will add them.

@MikeGolfJ3 -- Don't suppose you have building instructions for those laying around some where?  :)

Max, I do not but will by the end of next weekend.  It will not take me too long to draw it up.

Well done on the Paint rack! I really like that and with the HD rulers.

ALSO, as far as the Paint swatch is concerned: I printed them, cut them out and tapes them on the bottles! I like the look of it. I do it on the right, bottom of the paint name and above that I paint a dot of that color! Not to mention the dot on the top of the cap!

Paint rack plans requested.

A small update to the paint swatch posters/charts since the CAV KickStarter posted three more paints/mediums.

I'll work on the triad swatch posters/charts over the next few weeks and post those.

Harrek, I have not received nor know where to get those color swatches.  If someone can provide, I will gladly add them.

/break/

Since it was a lazy day of football, I went ahead and did up the triad poster/chart.
