I think old factory can easily win this given it's the only one that is definitely a "modern" base.  So it will get anyone who is only interested in modern voting for it I am sure.  I didn't think about that fact when I mentioned my prediction above!

hmm...that'd make me less likely to keep my pledge =P But we'll see. I just really don't need so many of the same design, since I don't do war gaming where the cohesive look is useful

sounds like you need to organize a group of people who want a variety of bases and plan pledges to do some mix-and-match trading, so everyone in the group can get a little of everything instead of a lot of one thing.. :)

it'd be a awesome idea, but trading is frowned upon here, isn't it?

I don't know the answer to that question.  I know that people are discouraged from linking to other webshops, but I don't know how some friendly trading infringes there.

Dakka Dakka allows trading, so you could always start up the subject in the CMON basing thread, in the News and Rumors section.

EDIT: For Shadows of Brimstone, Jeremy said: " these bases line up perfectly with SoB, the characters and small creatures are 30mm, mid-size creatures are 40mm, and the two XL figures from the core box are 60mm bases. "

Thought so haha. No worries, I have no intent to break the rules =)

Well, I was thinking local hobbiests would be your best bet because then you wouldn't have to mess with shipping them all over.  Unless everyone pitched in on one pledge and one person got the shipment and parsed it out.

Sounds like alot of work and something best done by email with people you know/trust if not done in person. :)

I really wanted to stick with this kickstarter (had early bird) but there aren't enough sets that work with Pathfinder and I don't think it's worth the $8 in shipping to get the one set I can use. I want Mystic to base elves and I'd probably only use the 30mm on 25mm bases. I'll just order a bunch of 30mm bases when they hit retail. Basius has so much more variety and compatibility.
