I figure worst comes to worse any bases I don't want join my citadel paints and pound's o dice in the mini exchange grab bag/filler sack. The forest, sad to say, will probably be the ones I use the least - they're too tall to use for monsters, since I don't like elevating those above PC's, but will probably be perfect for a couple elves I've got. Must pick up some of the resin "flight" forest bases, too - they're lovely, and I have a couple elves that would look great that high up... for display, not tabletop, though.

I'm in after all. Evidence is that CMON has improved their processes over the past 12 months, and this project hasn't gone completely over the top so should be approximately on time (I'm still expecting a 3-6 month delay, estimated delivery date may clash with Chinese New Year).

 

I've been after the Trash, Arcane, Ancient and Mystic MAS bases for other projects, but couldn't justify the cost in Resin (in Resin the cheapest of these projects comes in at ~$30, so probably would've happened eventually), but as the cost of these sets is less than the cost of the equivalent number of 30mm (or 40mm) bases alone I can justify it, and although I will have some spare bases I'm sure I'll use them all over time...and in the worst case being plastic I can always cut the 40mm and 50mm bases down to fit on smaller bases :-)

I am back in on this.. although there are at least 4 sets I want:  Arcane, Graveyard, Ancient and Forest.. i'd literally never need bases again for 50mm and under

grr i do like those ancient bases...$22 i do get a lot of bases, and the Ancient ones can be used as they are, without needing the 30mm round...but they might not get unlocked either =P Oh well. If they don't, I guess I can pick up jungle

I have tons of empty, blank bases. Getting a set or two of these could compliment them well.

 

Then again, I have quite a few from their first Kickstarter and Basius is tempting my mostly empty wallet.

Have they mentioned how the bases will be offered at retail?  Will they still come in sets (as in the KS), or will it be broken down further?  I'm not sure if they'll have the bases individually available, but I expect it might be possible to get just the 30mm, for example.  Or maybe they'll just keep them in the pre-assigned sets as in the KS for ease of management.
