I like it, you might want to drop a little black wash onto the gold to give it depth

Really like your approach to cool whites...

I'd say a brown wash, but yes it needs some shadowing to be complete.

Very nice job on him overall though!!

The shield, the wings, and the sword got a brown wash, but it does appear that I forgot to do the trim somewhere along the way.  ^_^   Hitting it again would help, but today is for football!

Thanks for looking.

mmmh i'm trying to figure out what doesn't convince me....

i guess the rivets!

white on the shield is really well done

i think you should place a bit of your azure wash around the rivets and overall more in the crevices of the armour.

as i said the shield is reaaally good it's perceived as white but has depth

I'll admit, I didn't put the effort in to go back and add a shadow to each individual rivet.  The armor plates have the same lining as the wings on the shield, it's just a bit washed out by the lighting on the side views.  Unless you would like the lining darker than that overall?

I like this guy.  the front of the shield is the best part for me.  I like the depth of shading on that part.  And i agree about the rivets needing to be highlighted better.  It would totally bring this guy to life.  My only other comment is that i would make the back of the shield a dark brown to separate it visually from his left arm.
