Popular Post Clever Crow
Hello everyone. Here's a blue version of the Narthrax dragon for KS2. Last year I was given a copy of Narthrax and painted it red and although I was happy with it and so were the Reaper folks the idea came out that he should be blue. So the red version went to live with the sculptor Julie Guthrie and I was given another copy to do a blue version. As much as I like the red version I really like the blue better. I rarely paint the same mini twice and never so close in time frame to the orginal but I have to say that this is one of the coolest dragons I have ever painted. Such amazing details and the scale work that Julie Guthrie did is incredible. Here's a link to the preview page where you can see both. http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/previews/latest/77279 I hope you like him...
ub3r_n3rd
Holy [REDACTED] that's awesome Michael! ETA: I was too speechless the first time I saw this blue beauty. I also like him better as a blue than as a red. The blending is simply phenomenal! Edited October 7, 2014 by ub3r_n3rd

ShadowRaven
Crow. Stop that. The red filled me with talent envy, and the blue is just that much better.... Gorgeous work as always (and I was kidding, never ever stop)

JG/RR
Beautiful work, as always. You know, I have a spot left on the shelf next to the Red version you painted. :) Julie

Loim
I was actually thinking of painting mine up as a Silver, but Clever Crow makes a very compelling argument here for blue.
