Here is a picture of some more bits put together (no head or front left arm). Wings are not attached.

 

 

Next up is probably more dirt-work and greenstuffing seams!

Wow, this is a fantastic figure. Didn't realize how big he really was until seeing him in this picture you posted. Going to eagerly be following your progress on it now.

I'm starting to dread my Dragon King(s). I've painted stuff on a 120mm base before, but apparently dragons are way more impressive at this size than big, stompy robots are...

Is this the Dracolich they had a copy of at Gen Con in he wizards area? I didn't know they had been released, I have to check that out as I really wanted one.

I don't know if that is the case, it is possible, but he is very recent. So recent in fact that this is a pre-production cast. They are still going to to cast the rest and put them in boxes with actual art on it. mine was a white box labelled, in small type, with 'dracolich'. Though they had one put together in a display case, so I could see what I was buying. Held it as well, it was just so awesome I had to get it. I have not seen a painted version yet, though someone at GF9 has painted one for the box art, but was afraid to bring it since it still needed to be photographed. :)

You are quite lucky to have gotten a pre production cast. Thank you for the information and I went and looked at my photos taken at the Con and in fact this is him. I will have to keep my eyes open for them to go on sale. 

And I will be following along on your WIP adventure I can't wait.
