joshuaslater
Kev White just posted a very similar model which is even more flamboyant. Limey72
Indeed was the other posted today too. For some reason, and obviously not the face the sculpt I painted reminds me of David Bowie in labarynth. (Really not sure why). And thank you ;)

smokingwreckage
First up: awesome job. Small critique: he could use some darklining in a less intense blue to make the shadows less "popping". Maybe a very thin grey-black? Sucking some of the intensity out of the shadows should help delineate his face and make the whole job look more natural and better "scaled"; the consistent BNAG POW BLUE right into the shadows is a little toy-like and detracts a bit from the full awesomeness of this excellent paint job. THAT SAID, sometimes stuff like this either only looks like it neds doing in the photos, or is a lot of work for a subtle change, or just isn't what you were aiming for! In any case, I love your work here!
Limey72
Hi smoking, first off thankyou for the kind words. Now to the blue;) blue skin seems to be a recurring problem for me and it's (I think) having the first highlight too light, your seeing what I am seeing and not an issue with the photography. The photos were taking after an attempt to blend the flush a little with a mid blue wash and it worked but nowhere near what I wanted so your critique is dead on sir ;) now I need to try blue flesh again with a narrower range of shades. Again thank you ;) Edited October 29, 2014 by Limey72
AnneO'Leary
Nice job on this one. I like the way you did the sword and the lava base is perfect for this figure.
