Popular Post cloudshaper2k
For my 15th anniversary, I painted this project for my wife. The miniatures are Morland Studios' OOTS Elan the Bard and Haley Starshine. The lettering at the bottom is my first attempt at freehand. I'd originally planned on painting '15 Years of Adventure' on the bottom, but quickly realized it would wrap too far around the base.
LittleBluberry
Wonderful! After all, Elan gets a happy ending.
robinh
Wonderful! After all, Elan gets a happy ending. but he wrote the story himself !! So of course it is happy as the boss Haley provided the incentive
malefactus
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! That is a LOVELY way to celebrate the happy occasion. GREAT WORK! I'll looking forward to your fiftieth anniversary creation...& the intervening ones also. By the way, I tend to go for long titles on my bases; re, Folks reading the inscription will get a view of the piece from more angles as they turn the mini in the reading process...Crazy Old Men are devious people. Arc 724
I like everything about this: I really like the grassy field with a purple base. The contrast is just fun! Thank you for sharing!
Cranky Dog
15 years of Merry Adventures! Congratulations. Though it's a simple sculpt, it's full of meaning when you know the characters. Though inevitable, seeing the arms/legs as thick black lines instead of thin lines like in the comic makes them look a bit off. cloudshaper2k
Malefactus, I had this nutty idea last night about putting away a couple copies of these two and then recreating this piece for our 50th with Elan and Haley painted up as an elderly couple.
