ub3r_n3rd
Yes, Paul, you should sign up for the next box of goodwill. I'm one of the coordinators for that one too. I have a group and started one of the U.S. boxes.

Kangaroorex
The box of goodwill has passed from my hands, but it's warm glow lives on. With 3 out of 4 of the league of justice and ceake collected, my wife found me a platypod to complete the set. And I even got it before christmas! Oh and wrapping and packing SS box tomorrow! redambrosia
What is it about Secret Sophie that you guys are excited about? New pewter? Random gifts? I definitely plan to continue organizing miniature exchanges, but you seem to be requesting something more. My guess is that it's due to the focus of Secret Sophie being on "sending random fun stuff, which may or may not be painted!" as opposed to the other "painted only" exchanges. I can see how opting for a non-painted exchange would be less stressful for some. :) ...Which reminds me, I still need to go paint things! Huzzah! --OneBoot :D I think it's this. It's fun to give presents. Plus you can throw in Other Stuff.

Bonwirn
Base coated the mini(s) for my intended recipient. Took me a bit of time to decide what I am going to paint for them...
Matbar
Miss Melons - You are quite welcome. I really enjoyed looking for interesting minis, but getting a fellow chocolate lover was cool as well. In both cases the hard part was choosing. Thanks for giving good infos on what you like :-) Fanguad & Ub3r - I just enjoy getting a random recipient and then reading around the board to see what they like and trying to find something in line with their likes, but also a bit surprising. As far as receiving, I like surprises there too. I haven't yet participated in any of the painters exchanges because I'm really nervy about having a painting deadline. So to me the Secret Sophie being either / or is a big plus. It's kind of a "get-to-know you" and for me it's extra fun because you are doing a gift exchange exclusively with other hobbyists.
klarg1
I'm way behind in painting. I'm afraid my exchange partner is going to have to wait until after Christmas.
