SGHawkins09
I thought it would take a while to finish mine but I had a burst or motivation and actually just finished. The mini is painted, based and ready to go. Pictures have been taken so I should be able to get it mailed out tomorrow.
Kangaroorex
I got lucky. I "saw" the perfect minis for this and was able to start right on them. the bases may not be the worlds most imagnitive but I like what I did and I think my SS will too. If work cooperates I will get home at a reasonable hour and then on to wrapping and packing.
Jasper_the_2nd
Parcel sent! Hopefully will make it there by Christmas (Customs willing). RE: a midsummer gift exchange. I'd love a mid summer one (I'd also love a mid summer X days of Reaper, where'd I'd worry less about ordering paint due to the temperature, figured I'd mention that just in case... ). Why? I like sending folks random boxes of goodness. Heck I ran an entire contest just to send folks random boxes of goodness I really like painted minis exchanges too, but they are too very different beasts. The both take time, but different kinds of time. Like right now all my painting time is taken up with the never-ending diorama of hugeness, but shopping and picking out cool figs, lots of time for that! And now that all my contest stuff has shipped, I'll definitively be signing up if there is another box o- goodwill!
tarlen
I received a fantastic package from buckyball today! My 6 year old daughter told me I had to open it immediately, rather than putting it under the tree, and who was I to argue? Two painted minis: Marcus Starsong (sans staff) Kaer Maga Duskwarden. Eight (!) unpainted minis: Lem, Iconic Halfling Bard Bourbon Street Sophie (awesome!) Reapercon 2011 Adventure Sophie Depora Azinrae Shalelu (version 2) An elf with a spear I've been unable to identify A human viking with spiked helmet, spear and beard I've been unable to identify. Gothic Archway AND a Reaper Paint Poker tool, a paint brush, all in a small case that is undoubtedly going to come in very handy. THANK YOU HEAPS! This is a really amazing Secret Sophie gift! In related news, I've reduced the number of minis I'm painting to two, and have almost got them done. I hope to finish it all off this weekend, and get them in the post before Christmas. Hopefully they will get to my recipient before New Year, but I don't hold much faith in the postal services over the holiday period.
Kormydigar
Finished all of the minis for both recipients today! This evening will be photos and packing. Tomorrow the packages hit the mail. I hope they make it on time for Christmas!

Moderator OneBoot Posted December 18, 2014 Moderator Share Posted December 18, 2014 A note to my Secret Sophie painter: I will be out of town from the evening of December 23rd through probably January 4th. So, if the package is unlikely to get to me before the 23rd, please wait until the 5th to send it! Our postal carrier isn't always very good about leaving packages in the apartment office (they keep leaving them on the doorstep and covering them with our doormat. Like that somehow makes the package invisible or something ). Huzzah! --OneBoot :D

Flamehawke
I have seen odd ways of concealing boxes and always want to wonder how they thought that was going to hide the package from being spotted
Generic Fighter
So, Good News and not so good news. Good News: Got some candy from a local place for my Partner. Going tomorrow to a local Tea Merchant to look over tea suitable for my Partner. Not So Good News: Finally convinced my Dad to help Wrap Mom's Presents, so no more work will be happening on the Painted Mini til Sunday or Monday, unfortunately. Exhausted from wrapping presents and there are still 2 more bags to go! So, finishing up that Friday. Then my last Saturday game of the Year wear we are exchanging presents. And Sunday, I'm hosting a Shakedown Encounter for my new Actual Play Podcast with the players for it. In short, my Weekend is Booked! Marvin
Presents are, at long freakin' last, wrapped and ready to head to the post office tomorrow. Helped the wife get her presents ready for her kiddos at school tomorrow and then got her to wrap these for me at the end. So they're actually properly wrapped! Way behind where I wanted to be, but hopefully I'll still make it in time for Christmas. Fingers crossed.
falstius
... And Sunday, I'm hosting a Shakedown Encounter for my new Actual Play Podcast with the players for it. In short, my Weekend is Booked! Oh, I like actual play podcasts in theory because I don't get to play nearly as often as I would like ... but the only one I listen to regularly is Knights of the Night because it is edited to remove all the random non-story stuff that tends to fill up most of the gaming session. Anyway, please share when you get it up as I'd like to check it out!

The other reason is a couple of the Players decided to play Different PCs once they realized that all but one PC was Melee which caused some difficulties:P Add in an Animal Companion, and well, stuff Didn't Happen as planned. But everyone should be there and we WILL find out if it works better. Wish me Luck, I'll most likely need it! GF
