fanguad
I'm also making progress on my miniature - I hope to get it done this weekend (assuming I don't just start 10 more minis and don't finish any of them). I have my gifts picked out as well.
LittleBluberry
Finally got my box in the mail! Can't imagine that it will get there until after Christmas, but at least now I can tick that off my list. Now to find that official thread...
Tallghost
You know, seeing all of the fun in this thread, I think I was maybe under the influence of some sort of brain parasite when I signed up. I'm definitely doing the "minitures +" version of the exchange next time.
catdancer
Well it is the 23rd (6:40 PM) my local time...just over 24 more hours!!! It has taken great fortitude to look at and not open my two Secret Sophie boxes sitting under the tree. My age might be old but my heart is that of a little kid waiting to open his presents. pcktlnt
Miniatures are sitting in the gift box and the chosen one is primed and ready for paint. Not sure I can get a good base for it before the dead line.
Kadence
I got a lovely little package from LeopardPixie this morning. Thanks so much!! I contained a gnome and a treasure chest with some cute little guy on top of the chest! There was also a Christmas Carol Sophie from 2007 (unpainted) in the package. These guys are really quite awesome! Now I've got to step up my game to get my mini finished and sent off to my partner!
Flamehawke
I'll beat Teskeria to this as she is distracted by cartoons. Her Secret Sophie arrived. She was very very excited by the contents. Since we live in the same house I took the package to her and she promptly opened. She got some minis to paint, a brush, clear purple, a card, some candy (a type she favors), and a purple Eyebeast. She loves the eyebeast a great deal and has plans to display him. (I am praying she doesn't decide he is a good excuse to throw a beholder at us). She'll likely be on her shortly to rejoice about it. She says "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Tiniest Rhombus." tiniest rhombus
What! OMG! I'm so glad It got there before Christmas. Post Office guy said the 26th. I'm so happy she liked everything. The candy was a guess. I figured what's not to like about chocolate covered salted caramels. I'm glad I chose wisely. That just brightens my day!
Flamehawke
You chose very wisely. She likes sea salted caramels and adores dark chocolate. It is in hiding from the kids and my sister. She was very excited and now is falling asleep from waking up just to open it in excitement.

D'awww My husband would like to assure you, if she does decide to throw a beholder at you...and I qoute "Tell her it's an Eye Beast, the beholders trailer park cousin, so it shouldn't be too bad, because beholders aren't purple". Every time I sat down to paint it, he reminded me beholders weren't purple. My reply, maybe not but she said she likes purple and orange and so that's what she's gonna get and besides this is an eye beast not a beholder. I had such a great time painting it I bought the bones version for myself.
redambrosia
I received a Reaper sized box today and opened it without actually looking at the label. The lovely butterfly fairy card informed me that it wasn't from Reaper I was sent a great dane from Hasselfree and Angela the mousling & her dog. There are a couple of chocolates from an artisanal chocolate company. And a jar full of basing supplies! Really neat basing supplies! Thank you Keianna! I love your gift!
Flamehawke
Actually TR I would worry more what she would do with an Eyebeast. She crippled a Beholder and it nearly slew us. If an enemy has intelligence she plays them using it so battle wins are fully earned. I come closer to dieing in her games than I do in games by anyone except my father. She makes very scary monsters and she would argue its a fantasy world full of magic including ones that can change your appearance. Maybe he likes purple and so changed his color to it.

Keianna
Good! I am glad they arrived safe and sound. I forget if I included one of the papers that had the website of the company that made the basing bits. Of course I don't remember it and will have to find it when I get home.
