Just finished viewing your varied links (for the 1st time)...you have a very wide spectrum of miniature figure work and all are beautifully done with masterful excellence of execution. I especially love your fantastic creation, construction and execution of your vignette bases...some of the best that I have ever seen...your attention to details is outstanding and your choices of colors is superlative!

These are some great old miniatures from sculpting goddess Julie Guthrie and you've done a beautiful job on them.  The person's daughter you painted them for is going to be ecstatic!  These are really tiny pieces!

The detail is crazy good for the time, tho, even for Ral Partha.

It was really enjoyable to do this commission project...not only as a break from my (bayou project), but also for the fact that I really love many of the older miniatures from past decades!

That's a nice set you have there and I think it will make for an excellent Christmas gift.  I picked up some old "true 25mm" minis of off ebay a while back, and now that I've seen them in person I can appreciate how small some of them are.  Well done!

 

If someone is really enamored with these, I occasionally run across them on ebay.  I saw an auction for six complete sets and I went ahead and watched it just to see if anyone would actually pay what they wanted for it (a mere $395 opening bid ).

I've seen them on ebay. I'm not so wealthy or so obsessive. These pictured, however, are wonderfully done, particularly considering the size and detail.

These are great, Bearclaw and Joyleaf in particular look like they stepped out of the back cover pic I think their minis were based off of, and I now half want to hunt down some of these but so tiny and I'd want to get a lot better at painting first.

Well done - I think those tiny faces would drive me mad trying to paint! Good to see older figures on those heavy bases, looks like they'll stay in good shape for years to come.
