Dontfear
Those models are freaking fantastic. I am really really excited about that set, more so now.
Jordan Peacock
Wow. I didn't get the characters with the mega-bases for the Kickstarter, but I'm DEFINITELY getting at least one of Brick Mancastle once I see him in stores. He'd be perfect for a Rook for Wonderland-themed games.
Crimson_king_of_the_tower
I should ask - any votes for who we encounter next Update? Sophie would be nice I would also like to see the Kraken since it was the very first add-on I was super excited about and am very partial to water encounters!
Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted November 22, 2014 Moderator Share Posted November 22, 2014 I should ask - any votes for who we encounter next Update? Sophie would be nice I would also like to see the Kraken since it was the very first add-on I was super excited about and am very partial to water encounters! The Kraken really impressed me when I saw it in person. I can't recall if the scifi minis have been shown yet. If not, they should be.
Members SamuraiJack
Hmm I was under the impression that they would all be separate from their bases based on update 14. Its possible this was communicated at some point and I missed it though. "This mob of Heroes and Villains comes with something that makes them unique - beautifully styled, detachable bases! If we can raise $385k, this set can be added to your rewards for just $10." I love them all, but I'm glad I didn't opt for a second set..
kay13
Same. One of the advantages I saw to them was the detachable bases... Not saying I don't love them, but....
Dai-Mongar
Has there been a good look at the lords of darkness yet? I'm particularly looking forward to them.
Thes Hunter
I shall file your request for pinning right to next the request I filed with Ed for full time barristas in the break room. Papa Johns Pizza does this, they are even Starbucks baristas, why can't you guys?
Dontfear
Same. One of the advantages I saw to them was the detachable bases... Not saying I don't love them, but.... With the proper tools and force applied everything is detachable. Everything........
Hellcow
Wow. I didn't get the characters with the mega-bases for the Kickstarter, but I'm DEFINITELY getting at least one of Brick Mancastle once I see him in stores. He'd be perfect for a Rook for Wonderland-themed games. Yeah I opted for other things rather than the mega-base squad but I really wanted the 'castle guy' even in the early days of the KS. Now that I know his name is Brick Mancastle I am totally getting 4 of him!!! :)

With the proper tools and force applied everything is detachable. Everything........ Well in the case of Bones, proper tools translates to "a sharp knife" and not much force should be needed.
Qwyksilver
Yeah. It's kinda why 77008: Garrick the Bold now has "Sir Forscale" as a tag, because so many people were searching for him under that name instead of his Official one. Or how the Elven Warlord got the name Eawod after I called him the Elven Archer Warlord of Doom
Doug Sundseth
Same. One of the advantages I saw to them was the detachable bases... Not saying I don't love them, but.... With the proper tools and force applied everything is detachable. Everything........ Yup. Even neutrons. Which can be very exciting.
Cranky Dog
An observation, though it may have been answered before. All of the minis look good, I mean *really* good. The translucent sheen usually present on Bones isn't as prominent in these pics or several others, making the fine details easier to notice. Has the Bones material changed for Bones II or am I seeing photoshopped pictures (looking at Lady Largespike, it seems probable)? I remember you mentioning that the future CAV Bones will be grayer. As for Sir Forscale' next encounter, an underwater adventure would be nice.
