Completed Stones Dungeon Tiles - Frontline Games

Friends of Reaper Frontline Games have a new Dungeon Tiles Project.

Seriously, these are really cool, and the material they will be made form is similar to Bones, so it's easy to customize, which is a huge selling point to me.

When I first saw them, I wondered where the walls were. Then I realized they might actually work better for my group than the DF tiles. Setup should take almost no time.

Well crap, if this has come out around the time of DF Gametiles I would have totally backed this instead as I think that the walls of DF are nice at times, but also add a lot of weight and make storage more problematic. I think I'll snag a master builder early bird and think on it some more. These could come in very handy as bases for miniature painting even if I decided that I didn't need them to supplement my DF Gametiles.

I like Frontline Games, always a treat to see them at ReaperCon each year. Depending on finances the next few weeks, I may try & back this one.

...I think this will be what finally gets me into using terrain while gaming, in addition to our wet erase battle mat. Thanks for posting this, Bryan!

These look sweet and claim to solve my biggest complaints with the existing tile options: cost, weight, walls (DF), easily breakable (plaster).

 

I'm jumping in, but sure wish it would have ended some other time then a few days before xmass. Hopefully they allow addons for more sets after via a pledge manager so more $ can be tossed at it after the first of the year.

The magnetic doors are what sold me. Solved a huge pet peeve of mine.

 

Anyone got a cost comparison to other like sets?

 

Also going to need to ask the for photos of what the base set can build.

I don't suppose anyone would know how these tiles compare to Dwarven Forge size wise? If I can mix and match with what we already have, i would be more interested.
