If there were a 2nd (or even 3rd!) version of the LtP kit put out I would buy it in a heartbeat. Used the first one as my intro to Reaper minis, which had always looked cool but been a bit intimidating in terms of figuring out where to start. Since it covered base coats, washes, and drybrushing I feel like I'm starting to get a handle on some of the basics, but now I'm curious about some other techniques/tools - basing (would love a kit for this!), inks, those intriguing clear colors, the various additives Reaper makes, and even proper priming technique for the metal figures. With the forums, I'll get there on my own eventually, but the first kit was such a fantastic resource (not to mention value - 11 paints, 2 brushes, case, 3 figures and instructions for 34.99 is amazing) that I'd be loathe to miss the opportunity for another. I'm sure everyone's got their hands full with KS2 Bones right now, but for the record I'd back a KS for more kits if Reaper ever hosted one.

Also, I'm rapidly filling up that nifty case with triads, and could use the space of another to have an excuse to buy more paints ;)

...there are Bones Learn To Paint kits?

I'm not in the market, but I'd love to see more of those in the local hobby outlets. Spread the contagion!

This.

But seriously, a second ltpk possible? You have my slightly divided attention...skin tones maybe? More advanced layering? Nmm? So many possibilities!

Were you not at ReaperCon 2014? How did you manage to miss the premier release of BLTPK I?

This!

But you have my attention, so many options! Nmm? Skin tones? Unnatural skin tones?

Love this idea! I think a Learn to Base Kit would be brilliant. I probably wouldn't buy it myself because I already have a boatload of basing supplies but it's a great idea.

It would definitely be at the top of my list!

Yeah. One of my friends might just get one for Christmas... dependent on timing. Lousy Canadian Customs. :\

Recall the Canadian Shipping thread I started weeks ago. The Bones LTPK was the bulk of my order.

Just got mine today, plus one as a present for my son.  It looks great, and finally gives me the chance to try out Reaper paints, which seem strangely hard to get hold of this side of the Atlantic.

One very minor grumble, no protective caps for the brushes (though i have plenty of my own form dead brushes).

Really looking forward to trying the kit out, and hopefully there will be more to come.  Ideally a new one every year.

Hmm. This is a good idea.  I have an extra one I picked up at ReaperCon that I tried to sell to a friend who paints but never got a final reply from him.  Maybe I will just give it to my daughter for her 5th birthday in a couple weeks.  She has been using my paints the last few times I let her paint a mini so maybe having her own will make her even happier.  My mom asked for a list of minis she might like to paint and I went through the Bones catalog and sent her all the dragons so we will see what she picks out for her.

My Dad bought me the beginner painting kit as well as an extra character to go along with the other three. Now I'm addicted to collecting and painting miniatures.

Thanks, Dad.

It's been a really nice experience with my Dad, especially when we paint them together.

We went online once to pick out minis to buy after I had painted the first ones. He stuck about fifteen minis in the cart and bought them. I was like 'Woah, I thought you'd get me like, a couple'.

My Mom said that's what I get for sharing interests with my Dad.
