Sanael
I have ecclectic taste. I'll listen to just about anything if it is well done. Stuff I can live without, New country, most rap, religious rock. For your enjoyment Thanks for that video...I hadn't seen him do that before; its probably my favorite Beatles tune. My tastes in music...I love Willie Nelson. CCR. Rolling Stones. Bon Jovi. Blues Traveler's first three albums and to a lesser extent their fourth and fifth. Barenaked Ladies prior to Stunt. Guster. RHCP. I'm a big fan of indie-folky stuff like Dar Williams and Erin McKeown (and that stuff that grew out of indie, like Tori Amos). But my real love, what should be a guilty pleasure but I don't feel guilty at all...I could not live without modern girl pop. My usually-playing Pandora station is seeded with Gaga, Spice Girls and P!nk. I adore Rihanna's sex-charged inanity. Ke$ha (she will always have the $ to me, rehab notwithstanding) is amazeballs. Katy Perry is the best 3var!1! Britney and Christina Aguilera, of course...but does anyone remember Robyn? 'Cause I do. Give it some Latin flavor with Shakira, don't mind if I do. Is it a woman singing pretty terrible lyrics with a fair degree of autotune going on? I am all over that action. Most of these I do realize are pretty terrible. But I don't need to justify any of it. I just want to hear it.

Egg of Coot
Question 28: What do you like in music? I'm a big punk rock fan - mostly old hardcore and anarchopunk. I also listen to other stuff like ska, reggae, industrial, and some metal and southern rock. I also play the same sort of stuff on bass and guitar - and if anyone is interested, I'm a HUGE Gibson fan . . . The Egg
ShadowRaven
What is my taste in music? Yes. Music. There is no one particular style I don't enjoy (though Gangsta rap, if that can be called a style comes very close, if only for the lyrics) Admitedly, Celtic is my personal favourite for background music.
Flamehawke
I really have no one favorite type of music. I listen to almost everything but rap, but even if that can be on the table depending on the lyrics. I also like being able to understand the lyrics of the songs, but I also listen to instrumental. I like instrumental for when I want to focus and relax on things. The others vary depending on my mood and whether I need inspiration for a game.
Marvin
I've kind of quit caring about music. I was a bit of some kind of an audiophile through college and then kind of burned out. Since I've gotten married, I mostly just listen to the radio when we're in the car, country and rock stations. Don't even bother plugging in the stereo inside, anymore. In the last ten years I kind of found my groove somewhere between punk and country. I especially like stuff that often gets called "post-punk" or "post-grunge." Post-hardcore. Post-something. I don't know; I see all sorts of terms thrown around. Think, I guess, Shellac, June of 44, Jawbox, etc. Also alt-country. Think Drive-by Truckers, Drag the River, earlier Avett Brothers. I also dig a lot of 80's mainstream country and peak SST punk--think George straight and Randy Travis; yes, seriously; think ALL/Descendents and Minutemen--jazz running somewhere from bebop to Coltrane, certain strains of classic rock--think anything along the lines of Beatles, Floyd, Zep, CCR, Sabbath, Skynyrd--and rap in the neighborhood of Wu Tang. ETA: And I feel like I should give stoner metal a nod, as well as the grunge of my teenage years. Edited December 7, 2014 by Marvin

Moderator TaleSpinner Posted December 7, 2014 Author Moderator Share Posted December 7, 2014 Sorry everyone, I totally dropped the ball this weekend. I got really ill yesterday and totally forgot about it (not that my fever addled brain would have come up with anything good anyway). We'll just skip this weekend's question. Thanks for understanding. Andy
