Vytau
Just checked my package status - the box is practically walking distance from my house! I'll probably get it tomorrow, but I will start doing the happy dance today.
Bonwirn
Some of us, who completed their Early Bird accounts, did not receive an email for shipping notice. I entered mine on 10-14-14, as I knew I couldn't add more and didn't want to miss the deadline.

I was going to write that I too entered mine on the 14th, and the ponder if that had something to do with the glitch. But then I realized that there was probably a large number who did the same, so it must be something else.
papabees
Huh...that makes me much less excited about the new bases. They look pretty spiffy, but there's no way you're getting an Ogre or a Rhino onto one of those. Also makes me wonder what the 'official' base size for infantry will be going forward, given that they're the unit where it matters the most...I seem to remember it being mentioned that the new minis are designed to fit exactly inside the new bases so, for the bones minis it should not create an issue. Also nice to see how straight those Dictator arms are.

I'm more concerned about overhang on the larger models--it's going to be impossible to achieve true base-to-base contact with something like the Ogre due to the wide leg base. Good to know they're sizing the integral bases to fit though.
Reaper User CAVBOSS Posted December 4, 2014 Reaper User Share Posted December 4, 2014 When the first eight bones CAV were done, we had not yet decided on the final base side for the plastic ones. So we left them with what they had. The new plastics going forward will have a "base" that will fit inside the new plastic bases.

Just so that everyone is on the same page, here is a Bones Wight with the new bases: In a friendly game, I doubt it will matter much. /edit - for clarity, it is sitting half on the back half of the base just to show the size difference. It is just about the same width as the base when centered. Edited December 4, 2014 by Blackhawk
Thogrid
Just got my box delivered and opened. Like Blackhawk, first BSR I opened was the Wight. The bases to these first eight are going to be a project in and of themselves. Thinking I might just go with metal washers and paint lines on the side to denote the front...or something. While the BSRs are very lightweight (shockingly so in fact), I still foresee issues on any sort of sloping terrain during game play as they are still "top heavy". I'll have to play with it some. Nonetheless, VERY excited to have them here. I have four other projects to finish for AdeptiCon (www.adepticon.org) in March, so any work on these will likely be late this month or into January.
