Popular Post Kuro Cleanbrush
Hey everyone! So, I actually have been doing something mini-wise since I finished space Rambo. I've been working on one of the special edition minis from the last ReaperCon: a super cool Bobby Jackson sculpt! Contrary to my usual pattern, however, he doesn't really feature much GS work, his base is standard, and the only thing I really did in the way of conversions was to add those wings (from one of my un-built Sophies). So, the focus on this guy is pretty much just going to be the painting. However, I hope to do some really cool stuff with him, and maybe (if there is some interest) shoot some tutorial videos on how I do a few things! Right now, I am maybe halfway done with the armor. His torso is essentially done, but the arms and legs are merely basecoated and lined. So, what do you think? Anyone out there interested in seeing how I paint this red/orange NMM (I left an armor plate untouched so I can take it from start to finish), or how about his eyes?

seej
I'm always a fan of painting tutorials. Regarding the armor, is it strange to say I think the best part so far is the codpiece?

Kuro Cleanbrush
Well, thanks for the enthusiastic response, everyone! In that case I will definitely put together a little tutorial film (hopefully tonight)! @seej: Actually, I think you're right: the codpiece probably is the best part on the mini so far, lol

CashWiley
I will definitely put together a little tutorial film (hopefully tonight)!I tried a few months back to see how I could set up for video using my DSLR. I never realized how much I move around, auto-focus will have to be turned off, etc. I think if I had a laptop to tether the camera to so I could see the video as I'm recording it would help a lot.
