cornbread
So it did not take long to branch out in the gnome sculpting. We call this guy the little big foot. When I started, I thought I was just going to give him a long big beard and long hair, well, this happened. When I got to the top, the bald head made me laugh, so I left it. Enjoy!

Cranky Dog
The love child between Ewok and Bigfoot! He's like a winter sidekick to a main character. What's not to love? Besides the hair clogs in the drain I mean.

prophetic_joe
I agree. Terrible interpretation of the source material but he's the only Gurgi picture I could find.

Found one: http://www.openlettersmonthly.com/stevereads/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/taran-wanderer-tp.jpg Not sure I like that any better personally. I like to picture him a little more round than that. That one is just too bony. Scarier and less lovable to me. I know he's described as humanoid and really almost chimpanzee like but just not what I pictured.
Cranky Dog
My initial thought was also Gurgi, but the mini is cuter (and probably less annoying) and more "footy" than the Disney Gurgi.
Arc 724
I could see him sitting in a corner of a village just rocking back and forth on his feet. The adventures taking no notice to him, then someone decides to walk over and talk to him... Come to find out it is the most epic adventure ever!
