Excellent job on the rust.  One thing about poorly maintained but still used metal is that surfaces which receive wear tend to not be so rusty.  The edge of the sword is an obvious one (and I've seen that in person with some edged items), but where the armor plates rub would also get the rust knocked off of it.  It does look like you've got some edge highlighting going with the metal plates, which helps give the feel of use while also defining them.  Again, very nice rust.
