Dilvish the Deliverer
I watched Suicide Kings again. Still holds up very well. As expected, Christopher Walken and Dennis Leary carry the movie. It also features a young Johny Galleki (Leonard from Big Bang Theory)
Marvin
Movie's better in memory than in fact. Too long, gets slow. But still. Back before Liam Neeson just perpetually phoned it in. Good times.
Chrome
At home we watched The Forbidden Kingdom, a 2008 fantasy kung-fu film featuring Jackie Chan and Jet Li. It's not half bad, if you like that sort of thing. I love this movie.

Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted October 13, 2016 Moderator Share Posted October 13, 2016 We watched Escape From Witch Mountain last night. They had both of them on AMC several months ago. I still kinda liked the first one but the second was more of a stinker than I had remembered.
Talae
I didn't even realize they remade it. We watched the original. The kids weren't all that impressed.

Lars Porsenna
I just saw this thread. It makes me sad so I'm going to watch Spirited Away now. Terrific movie! One of my favorites from Ghibli... Damon.
sumbloke
When my girlfriend went to Hong Kong, I went to a local pop culture convention and picked up some Totoro earrings for her. She got a Totoro luggage tag for me. Great minds...

Serenity
Deepwater Horizon is a based-on-true-life adventure disaster flick, and I recommend it to fans of that genre. There were certain scenes where you scratch your head wondering how someone could survive such destruction. You could understand how mistakes are made when you're not putting safety as your top priority. Given the stakes, it is foolish to cut corners. The movie was a solid thrill ride with overall good acting, and everyone in my group enjoyed it.
warlordgarou
Finally got around to watching Pride & Prejudice & Zombies. The presence of Matt Smith made it a much more enjoyable movie.
Talae
Girl vs. Monsters It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. That isn't saying much though.
