Citrine
I got a pair of movie tickets from work, and I would love to see the Accountant today, but hubby isn't so keen on that idea. Maybe I will save them for Dr Strange instead.
etherial
Saw the new Rocky Horror Picture show. Liked what they did with it, liked the callbacks to the original. Also saw Joy, which is filled with even more dysfunctional family moments than you'd expect from the trailers. Worth it for the scene where Bradley Cooper spreads the gospel of QVC alone. Adept Legacy
Saw the new Rocky Horror Picture show. Liked what they did with it, liked the callbacks to the original. My wife and I just watched the new Rocky Horror also. I still don't get it. Seen the original at least five times, and once in a theatre. Seen the new one once, and the Time warp song three times. Sets are amazing though. I love what they did with the lighting. I guess the great thing about art appreciation, is you don't have to fully get something to enjoy it. I've had that outro theme stuck in my head all day. Though my brain might be going to the idea of unemployment rather than something deep or meaningful. So, a straight white vanilla cismale friend of mine said something similar to me and my response was "What do you have to be repressed about?" I was the kind of person who literally needed someone shouting (or autoerotically singing, as the case may be) "Don't dream it, be it!" 12 times in a row in order to get it into my head. So maybe you just have nothing to be repressed about, or maybe you were just never repressed to beginwith. Or maybe it just doesn't speak to you and you're just here for the gold lame.
Adept Legacy
Edited for classic Adept moment taking the joke too far. Please enjoy the things I should have said. That's a tough place to be. My condolences. Never been there.I wonder if it would have been different were I older and liked Meatloaf. I've been thinking about it, and I guess Sci-Fi was an easier way to get things out without getting beaten into the dirt immediately. Happy with the recast for Dr. Frankenfurter. She does good work. redambrosia
We watched Ms Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children on Saturday. Quite enjoyed it. Samuel Jackson is fun when he's not being himself. Annoyingly I actually had to get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the movie. I haven't had to do that in a long time, and I think I missed something important.

sumbloke
Over the weekend I watched Little Shop of Horrors and Taxi Driver. I picked them up for cheap recently since I hadn't seen them before.

VitM
Not a movie, but we just finished watching both seasons of Rick and Morty last night. That is an excellent show.
Marvin
So apparently there's a movie on Netflix called "The Dwarvenaut" that is I guess a documentary about the Dwarven Forge guy's first Kickstarter project or something? And I have never seen this mentioned here? And I am surprised by this? Obviously?

And I have never seen this mentioned here? And I am surprised by this? Obviously? I thought I posted about it at some point. I watched it the weekend it was released. I found it entertaining, but I am kind of a fanboy. He is definitely someone I would game with.
Marvin
Ah, maybe it was posted with a picture or otherwise without the name. I searched for it, trying to find the skinny on it, and was very surprised to find no mention of it.
