I loved the first one, but this was just a muddled mess of a movie, felt like a quickly cobbled together cash grab and not the second part of a cohesive story. That movie was just awful. I'm pretty forgiving of movies, but it was not good, and I have little hope for the remainder of the franchise. Nicholas Flammel was absolutely unnecessary fan service, and the plot was garbage. I remember seeing trailers for it when I was in theatres, and really wanted to see it. It was fun to watch, glad it came to Netflix so we could see it.

Had to look up who that was. Yeah his inclusion was pretty pointless, but the same could be said of most of the cast. I still haven't worked out why they keep turning to 'Magical David Attenbrough' to fight 'Magical Hitler'.

Beowulfthehunter
After having to slit it up into two viewings( infant daughters and 4 hr movies don't mix) I finished The Irishman. It was good, but forgettable. Still trying to deal with this life as a parent thing, but movies are just not do able right now.

Soon your babies will pick a favorite movie, and you’ll watch that like, a bazillion times. On that topic, I’m on my millionth viewing of The Greatest Showman. My daughter loves this movie. 8

BD will literally watch it three times in a row, beginning to end. Singing along with the Keep on Swiiming song. Crowley
Watched V for Vendetta tonight. Feels oddly timely for a story written on the early 80s.

Marvin
The comic's fans bag on the movie, but it's a pretty good adaptation. Weaving's performance was seriously underrated.

Citrine
We watched The Crew last night on Netflix streaming, it is a French heist movie that was pretty good. We watched it in French with subtitles. It was all from the criminals perspective which was weird I thought. If you like heist movies, you will probably like it.
