I watched the move last week, and I still quote it, it's got so many good parts. Plus Victor Wong as Egg Shen. It's also one of those movies that, for the '80s and that Kurt Russell the main protagonist, throughout the movie he's fairly inept in all the combat. He has his moments, but he's pretty much outclassed by either the bad guys, or himself. I think it makes the movie priceless. My brother bought the boardgame and needs the minis painted, so I am hoping he decides to send it my way...

Zink
Watched a couple things lately. The Predator and Spectral. Both scifi shooters. Spectral was a decent show about what I think was supposed to be a peace keeping team in Moldova encountering ghost like creatures that they couldn't handle. For some reason I really enjoyed the Predator, especially the psych case soldiers. "@#$% my face with an aardvark!!" is going to stick in my mind for awhile. Big Trouble in Little China is one of my all time favourite movies. Been awhile since I watched it so I should dig out the dvd.
aku-chan
Tried watching Ad Astra today, but only made it halfway. Brad Pitts constant, droning narration about how everything sucks just ruins it all, even the weird bits like the Moon Pirates and the Killer Space Monkeys. Got a wacky 80's B-movie called The Hidden to watch tonight, hopefully it's a bit better.
Marvin
Not bad for a movie totally devoid of any trace of subtlety or nuance whatsoever. 120 minutes of so-so SNL shtick totally worth sitting through for 10 minutes of prolly the weirdest Arnold energy ever.
Marvin
Pretty great. Simple and solid. Really played to old-school Mel. Daughter was kind of annoying tho.
Marvin
I have no idea how I'd never seen this. Kinda great, kinda terrible, pretty fun.

Those words represent all Dolph Lundgren movies. And I have mad respect for Dolph (he will always be the live-action embodiment of He-Man to me). That is a classic movie in my house. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa is fantastic in it, one of his most iconic villain roles.
ManvsMini
Miss Congeniality is on right now. I can't resist watching it. The combination of Michael Caine and Sandra Bullock was perfect chemistry.
ManvsMini
While spackling some bases, I watched The Slammin' Salmon by the Broken Lizard guys. Pretty good, maybe not as good as Super Troopers, but seeing Michael Clarke Duncan doing his comedic side makes it worthy. I miss that man, such a good actor. Everyone else gets their chance to shine too, as you would expect in a Broken Lizard film. Anyone else watching anything? Got a recommendation for another movie?
redambrosia
I just watched a stupid movie called Vamps, with Alicia Silverstone. It actually ended up being kinda sweet. It’s also worth it just to watch Sigourney Weaver being super campy.
