CaptainPete
I re-watched Blade Runner, Director's Cut the other day. After watching Star Trek: The Motion(less) Picture. And then a Scooby-Doo movie. I'm going to line up some movies for the weekend, probably going to start with The Crow (which I've never seen). After that, I'm not sure.

Yeah, it's a horrid plot of a movie, but I honestly don't think they made it to be serious. It was a good way to kill time, had some funny moments, Alexandra Daddario's eyes (yes, her eyes, they are amazing), and of course the Rock. But I still don't care for Zac Efron. Then I watched a movie on Netflix called The Babysitter. Complete B-movie, I don't even know if it qualifies as a horror movie, but I didn't hate it. Lead actress looks a lot like Margot Robbie, but is apparently Hugo Weaving's niece. I loved the Babysitter, there's a sequel to it that dropped a couple of weeks ago, it's currently in my watchlist. Along with.....quite a few films, to be honest We watched Bad Boys 4 Life(not terrible, but I saw a major plot point coming from a mile away), Terminator:Dark Fate( really enjoyed it) and Underwater(loved it, despite it starting 2 actors that I normally can't stand) Spoiler for Underwater We spend most of the film joking that it would be awesome if the monsters would be Deep Ones The end reveal was awesome!

aku-chan
Watched a couple movies last night. First there was Birds of Prey, Margot Robbie is starting to sell me on "modern" Harley Quinn, it's just a pity the movie itself is pretty lousy, tries far too hard to be quirky. Then the new horror version of Fantasy Island, it was an interesting take on the premise, but falls apart if you think about it even slightly. It also wasn't much of a horror movie, or I've gotten a lot braver lately!
Citrine
We watched Killing Gunther on Netflix last night. Hubby and I would say it is not worth watching, skip that one. Arnold is only in it for the very last part, and the main character is very unlikable. The movie was a real mess, and the humor didn't really land most of the time. 1
CaptainPete
I rewatched Tron: Legacy yesterday before bed. I liked it better this time. It still slows down too much in the middle but it's a fun watch. Now, to start working on a pen and paper RPG of it...

The cast clearly were enjoying themselves, and the plot was a great tongue in cheek spoof on the show itself. I loved it enough to buy it used from Redbox. The Babysitter is an entertaining movie. Definitely a B-movie, but fun. I recommend Little Evil on Netflix, too. It's a horror comedy, very ridiculous and goofy. My wife loved it, and she's not a fan of horror movies. I enjoyed T:DF and Underwater as well. Wasn't entirely sure about Underwater going in, but I was impressed. The ending was really surprising. Very cool.
NecroMancer
I'm currently rewatching Chappie I always thought this was an underrated movie but I am a big fan of Neill Blomkamp and Die Antwoord.
ManvsMini
While I liked Chappie, I thought the previews and tagline I always saw for it were misleading ("Humanity's last hope isn't human."). It wasn't what I was expecting, but I enjoyed it. My brother and I routinely quote a few bits ("You don't steal daddy's cars!").
Crowley
"Let it snow" on Netflix. Cute coming of age highschool kids on Christmas Eve movie. "Christmas Chronicles" Kurt Russell as Santa? Formulaic but fun. "Bad Moms" turned it off after about 15 minutes.
NecroMancer
Just watched Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made. Its on Disney Plus and I watched it with my girls. A really great movie! Highly recommended
ManvsMini
Found two gems on Prime today: Firewalker and Cutthroat Island. Some Chuck Norris and Louis Gossett Jr., how can you not like Firewalker? And yes, I know Cutthroat Island is regarded as one of, if not the biggest box-office bomb, but childhood memories are screaming at me that I enjoyed it. So it's found itself on the watchlist.
aku-chan
Watched Mortal Kombat:- Scorpions Revenge last night. Amazingly, it managed to be even more violent than the games it's based on. Also amazingly, it was quite good.
Kuroneko
We've been getting ready for Christmas by watching some seasonal fare. I watch Scrooged every year and I'm always surprised by how dark it is. Utter classic! A more recent film, Krampus is just a great, dark little rollercoaster into horror. It has some absolutely fantastic creature effects and looks amazing. Another foray into the scarier side of Christmas, Rare Exports is my second favorite festive movie. It's a Finnish dark comedy about a young boy dealing with unusual happenings in their village. I heartily recommend it to all forumites. Here's the trailer https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9RQlikX4vvw
Corsair
Lady C and I are getting ready to watch "The Ghost and the Darkness" really neat as we have both seen the maneaters at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago growing up.
