Movies - Recently Watched or Plan to Watch Soon

Just finished Iron Mask, the recent Jackie Chan film. It was pretty fun, even with the slightly off dubbing. The best part was Sephy mimicking Jackie Chan’s martial arts moves. She’s too freakin cute!

But....but...Thor is the strongest Avenger    He also meets the criteria for being a bona fide Disney Princess

I am victorious! All those other fools who got up have weaker resolve than a 9 month pregnant lady! Mwuhahaha!    Endgame was good. Cried, laughed, enjoyed it.

Recently watched two movies - 'Ready Player One' and 'Avengers: Infinity War' that I'd been kept from seeing.   Ready Player One was a little extra bittersweet, since it was a movie my wife

Had some time over the weekend, so my dad and I got together and watched Gladiator and The Last Samurai together, stuff that the girls wouldn't really enjoy.

Gladiator was fine, but in my opinion it's just really sad. Not just in Maximus's personal story, but also - these people are brutally murdering each other just to amuse people.

But The Last Samurai... Dang, I like that movie. A lot less bloody than the former as well.

Grump pointed something out to me, I don't know if it makes things better or worse.

The gladiatorial battles were also human sacrifices to the gods.

Just watched Invader Zim: Enter The Florpus on Netflix.  Good way to spend an hour and ten minutes I would argue.

Some things might not make any sense at all to those who haven't watched the series, but on the other hand...  That final fight scene!

We watched the original Night of the Living Dead and Ghostbusters this weekend, since it was dark and rainy on Saturday evening and all day Sunday.  Perfect weather for movie watching. :)

I recently finished watching the Netflix series Dark. Very interesting and very difficult to understand. I really like to watch complex films, over which one can think about and about which one can write a fictional story or an essay. I recently got an assignment in college, incidentally, to write a compelling essay about the last show I liked. The information on https://edubirdie.com/blog/how-to-write-a-persuasive-essay helped me a lot, where I found practical advice on how to be more convincing in my essay. As you can imagine, I wrote my essay about the series. Dark

Watched Train to Busan - Peninsula last night.

Not sure why it gets so much criticism compared to the first one, yes it's not as good and the CGI is super obvious (particularly in the car chase scenes) but as Zombie flicks go it's a fairly decent one.

Awesome Wife and I watched Nobody last night.  From the people who did John Wick, the fight scenes were top notch as expected.  Story line was similar, retired bad-elf takes up his former ways when random bad thing happens to hi family.  There seemed to be more comedy in this one, so I viewed it as a less 'serious' film than the Wick movies, but I greatly enjoyed it all the same.  Christopher Lloyd's character was awesome and he stole several scenes.  Will watch again.

I finally went to an actual theatre and saw Nobody also and was very pleased (considering the alternative option was Mortal Kombat). It was fun mindless violence.
