I watched 3 movies today, all borrowed from the Library.

The Howling II: Your Sister is a Werewolf. I haven't watched this since it first became available on VHS decades ago. I don't think I'll ever watch it again and I do not remember it having the subtitle back then.

Blood Moon. A werewolf movie set during the wild west era. I enjoyed it and may re-watch it, especially if they make a sequel or prequel as they discussed in the special features.

Robot Jox. Another one I haven't seen since those long ago VHS days. I don't think I'll watch it for another 30 or 40 years, but I might re-watch it then.

Always been a fan of Dune so of course I'm looking forward to it..  Even the old 80s movie was fun even though it really had almost nothing to do with the book....

I'm on the fence. There's a lot of "star power" packed into that, which doesn't always pay off... and even added all together, it doesn't add up to the talent that Patrick Stewart possesses, which is one thing the 80's version had.

My son was watching this, so I guess I watched it while I was at my computer

Trailer Park Shark

Of course it was on "See Fee", so I guess that explains it. It does have some "oh my god, that absolutely stupid moments" but overall a laughable movie.

"Shark Week" is upon us, so a ton of awful shark movies are about to hit us.

A listing of Comet TV's movie scheduling for the event:

  • 2-HEADED SHARK ATTACK (2012)
  • 3-HEADED SHARK ATTACK (2015)
  • AVALANCHE SHARKS (2013)
  • BARRACUDA (1978)
  • MEGA SHARK VS CROCOSAURUS (2010)
  • MEGA SHARK VS. GIANT OCTOPUS (2009)
  • MEGA SHARK VS. KOLOSSUS (2015)
  • MEGA SHARK VS. MECHA SHARK (2013)
  • SHARK ATTACK 2 (2000)
  • SHARK ATTACK 3: MEGALODON (2002)
  • SHARK WEEK (2012)
  • SHARKTOPUS VS. PTERACUDA (2014)
  • SUPERCROC (2007)

I'm cancelling my fishing trip.

Is it wrong that I've seen and enjoyed every single film on that list?

"Baby Shark" ruined the experience for me. [Doo-doo-do-doo!]

We've recently watched Black Widow, Jungle Cruise and Free Guy in an actual cinema. All totally enjoyable films, it was particularly awesome to see a MCU film on the big screen again. That said, I think that Free Guy was my favorite, I haven't laughed so much in ages.

Should hopefully see Shang-Chi sometime soon. We're happy to be back at the cinema, but we're deliberately picking morning showings where not many tickets have been sold. I never liked a packed auditorium B.C.(Before Covid) so it's not much of a change to be honest. Sadly, it means that our trips to opening day midnight showings have been stopped for the foreseeable future. I'm just glad that the cinemas are actually open again!

Watched Raya and the Last Dragon, thought it was really good but non-musical Disney films don't feel quite right somehow.

My hubby commented on that too. I just told him it’s in the same category as Wreck It Ralph and Big Hero 6. Not all Disney films are musicals, though only in the CG era have animated films not been musical.
