They are COOL Little Rogue! You did a FINE job with the brushwork & the bases are OUTSTANDING. VERY WELL DONE!

Coming up with an interesting & appropriate or inappropriate name, as the case may be, is one of the highlights of miniature painting for moi. A good name can be the inspiration for the paint job & an enhancement once complete. Now then, having said all that, you did a commendable job with the naming, which earns you a second "VERY WELL DONE!".

Nice work!

............................."Skullcrotch?"

The nicknames came about when I started making plans "Okay, I need to do a bit more highlighting on Redcap's hat, Frownyface's knife needs a bit more emphasis on the top blade, and I can't forget Smiley's rock...."

He's wearing a skull for a codpiece... so what the heck?

Incidentally, thanks to everyone for the kind words!  I'm definitely aiming for a "middle of the road" paint job - better than a speed paint (which for me is probably around an hour,) but not a painstaking 10+ hour job with incredible highlights and butter-smooth transitions.

It's hard to say, since I paint 10-15 minutes at a time (then go do something else,) but these guys probably took a total of 4 or 5 hours - this is longer than average for me but I was painting four minis...

I paint in 2-3 hour sessions with 10-14 hours going into each figure with Humbrol paints.....then I see how some artists here can do shading, eyes, skin tones....and I think I didn't do enough.

Its interesting to hear how others work.

It would even be my style to paint these 4 pyro Goblins one at a time
