And the most recent video from the facebook page, showing a game being played, as well as several of the minis (some of them are shown in closeup a couple minutes in):

Eventhough I love Conan, I'm not too interested in the game to be honest, but the miniatures are looking great. However, the big question is the material they'll be using. From what I've heard, it's going to be the same plastic used in Dust Tactics and which will also be used for the upcoming game The Others. Anyone have any opinion on that plastic? It seems they won't be having a resin option, which gave me a bit of a sad.

I dunno. I think every minis company out there has done a Conan. This'll have to be a pretty impressive game.

Follow BGG and you'll know it is: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/160010/conan-hyborian-quests

Pledge levels are $100 and $150 (or less) for 50+ and 100+ miniatures: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1266112/pledge-levels/page/1

If you're a Conanophile (and purist), it's worth backing. If not, it's an expensive high-end game.

Dust plastic is OK. It's about the same as what you'd get in a model car kit. It seams to hold detail pretty well but it's hard to tell as the dust stuff doesn't seams as well sculpted\detailed as most other minis.

OK, good to know. From what little I've seen of Dust it looks slightly simplistic (big stompy machines), but I guess the infantry seems alright too (I haven't really seen any closeups; I'm also not sure whether or not everything in the Dust line is plastic). My concern is if the plastic will be able to hold the detail of the nice sculpting from Stéphane Simon and others:

In the last thread, Itai posted that they would offer a resin mini option as an add on. Of course that thread was from the summer, so things might have changed, but as far as I know it should still be valid.

One thing I found interesting is the pledge levels ced1106 linked only mention one Conan, but the video above mentions three versions. I am guessing they are planning the others as stretch goals.

Oh, and I'm sure it's just the angle, but that is an unfortunately placed dagger in the last image Trodax posted.

They are apparently going to have multiple Conan minis depicting him at various states of Conan's career.

To me I think they are making a really great effort, but if I am being honest they are not doing anything that has not already been done a million times over.......but then neither is any other fantasy Kickstarter for that matter ( MINE INCLUDED!! ). Nothing at all wrong with it, just me thinking "out loud ". Being even more honest........ I have yet to see a figure that says " Conan " anymore than a thousand other figures on the market, but I suppose having the " Official" title of Conan makes them more so.................................. I am too cynical. :(

All that aside this DOES look like it will be a GREAT product so I will be chipping in what I am able. Great Art, GREAT sculpts, and what appears to be a fun game. I really do not see how this can go wrong.

This is the 22nd project my wife and I have worked side by side together on. Posted tbis on Facebook but first time adding our project to the forums. I hope you like our Interpretation of the KS  Mammoth not sure if the is a SKU for it. C&C more than welcome. Felt with it being a mammoth a more wintery theme should be more in keeping. Enjoy. Stay safe in these troubled times.

I know there are a few folks that do Bolt Action and similar 28mm wargaming (@buglips), so I thought I'd bounce this out there.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tftb/world-war-ii-soviet-railroad?ref=discovery_recommendations

      Story
Railroads are an important means to transport troops, equipment, ammunition and all other kinds of supply to the front. Especially in a country as vast as the Soviet Union with it's endless steppes, only few reliable roads and no major rivers running in the direction of the German advance during Operation Barbarossa in World War II.
With this set of detailed buildings and rolling stock in 1/56 scale for 28mm figures you get the opportunity to recreate the crucial fighting around the Soviet railroad system.
The kits focus on the major pieces of rolling stock available to the Soviet defenders: box cars, gondola cars and flat cars. And the mighty ALCo RSD-1 Diesel Engine which was made available under the US Lend-Lease Act.
Also included is a typical rural train station with optional additional platforms for all who want to depict a Soviet - or captured German - supply depot, where heavy equipment like tanks and guns are being unloaded.
And for all of you looking for an armored train - don't worry! We have you covered.
        Talking about railroad tracks:
We did not see the need to reinvent the wheel, so all kits are designed to be used with
4Ground Railroad Tracks (available as add-ons to the Kickstarter) or O Gauge Model Railroad Tracks The kits include optional parts enabling you to choose your favorite system while assembling. Going this route has allowed us to concentrate on designing and producing the rolling stock only, which has the advantage of an earlier fulfillment date for the Kickstarter.
All models are highly detailed on the outside and inside. The interiors are easily accessible, as roofs are removable. In addition, all doors are moveable, which means you can open or close them during gameplay.

A Viking Girl sculpted by Bobby Jackson. She was a lot of fun to paint since she had a lot of canvas for freehand work. She is also my first serious effort at NMM, so that's a well I plan to return to.

I came to paint her when I asked my friends which model needed to get some love next. I presented a wizard, a ranger, and an armored lady fighter. One chimes in that she'd like to see the fighter (she being a practitioner of HEMA). Her boyfriend mentions something about boob armor. I said, no, she's got pretty normal armor. You want to see something egregious? THIS is egregious. My HEMA friend immediately says, "I'd like to change my vote." So here we are.

Here's the WIP thread for her. Here's my next piece.

This has sod all to do with miniatures, but I would be surprised if there were not people who might want one of these pins, for literally any reason at all.
I'll let the campaign speak for itself, as I usually do; it is pins. There are, as the title implies, representations for most of the common faiths, in a literal rainbow of ... well, Pride rainbows.

"You take your game seriously. Now it's time for a serious screen.
In October of 2018, Dog Might released the first fully sculpted GM Screen, the Valhalla Screen. Since then, we have released over 30 more designs, including officially licensed screens for: Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire: The Masquerade. We have also designed screens for you favorite shows, such as Relics and Rarities and the Critical Role stream of Undeadwood. Over the last year and a half, our Valhalla Screens have proven to be our most sought after product. "

... Would it surprise anybody here to know I want one?
If I can't have one, at least I can spread the word. ;p
