Hells_Clown
Once the new ones are availabe are the old ones still going to be sold? I like the marketing for the new paints: "For advanced painters". Meaning the old ones are for low level goombah painters. Now with that in mind, who's gonna buy the regular boring ole paints? Nobody wants to be a looser painter, we all wanna use the paints the big painters use. That'll make us better painters, right? The agitators in the new ones prolly look like Anne and Jen and Lilly and Alex, don't they? And each bottle has drops of their blood for that extra added perfection... Ok, I'm sold, where are they? How many banks do I have to rob just to look at them?
coogle
Actually I would call these paints Reaper 2.0, they've ironed out some of the bugs, and are now going to sell the next upgrade. This doesn't devalue the orginal ones. What I would like to see is Reaper selling the dropper bottles seperately as well, so I can transfer all my paints over to them, say in packs of 20. Morgan Devalis
Adding blood from the top painters to make us paint better? That is absolutely ridiculous. Everyone knows that it will be their powdered salivary glands so as not to throw off the colors.

Silly me. Though I believe there was a comic book printed in the 80's (of a rock band I think) where some of the ink had actual blood from the lead singer or some such nonsense. Moderator TaleSpinner Posted February 5, 2004 Moderator Share Posted February 5, 2004 Well of course it is the saliva we need. Thats why they all paint so good; they are all brush lickers. Most people think it is just talent, but really it is a genetic attribute of their saliva. TS
coogle
MMMM, so they are really all vampires or werewolves then? They have lived for several centuries mastering the art of miniature painting?

Vikinglodge
I dont lick my brushes either, I thought I would try to start and see how much better the brushes would handle but the first time I tried a couple of months back with the extender and flow improver my tounge did start tingeling and feeling numb. I guess longtime brush lickers have permanatly numbed tounges
pae
It's usually the bourbon that makes my tongue numb. I wonder how much I've damaged my brushes by licking them shortly after sipping on the 104 proof stuff?

haldir
Actaully I was thinkin one of the new colors could be Anne's Blood...but wait we haven't seen Anne postin alot lately, hmmmmmmm I'm hopin the paints will have codes that tell you if it a old paint (Firehawk Red 8002) so you don't have to if you don't want to buy the same color, even in new dropper bottles. As I've transfer every Reaper paint out there into West. Plas. dropper bottles, this would be redunancy for me & I'm sure some as well. Dropper is the way to go thou!!
