77166: Balto Burrowell, Gnome Wizard

Decided to paint up Balto for the Jan-Feb Beauty Contest, mostly because I knew where he was without having to go downstairs....

 

 

Here's day one.

 

Haven't really decided on a hair colour yet.  Thinking of going with more natural hair colours for my Reaper Gnomes.

Day 2.

 

 

Apparently he has some sort of circlet thing going on.  

Got a rough base coat on everything now.

Got a little more done on him today (got distracted at lunch for a few days getting my spreadsheet ready for Bones II).

 

 

 

Mostly just did a few washes on him today, and once they dried started a few details.  The rest of the time I started base coating Counterblast figures.

Got home last night and my internet access was kaput.  Something had broken on the tower I connect to.  Seems ok right now, but let's see if I can actually get some pictures posted.

 

 

This was yesterday's work.  A good portion of the highlighting and details done.

 

 

 

And today.  I may do a little drybrushing on the base, but other than that I think I've taken him as far as I'm willing to.

I'll give him a once over on Friday (tomorrow is fire alarm testing over lunch, so I'm going for a walk) before calling him done.
