So the size of the diorama comes down to what is practical. How much area do I need to create the scene while still being able to capture everything in no more than 6 photos. Got it . . . working . . .

My latest one was 12x14.  It's...hefty.  Remember to think about where you will store it afterwards  ::):

Good point indeed!

Kaladrax has been staring at me for a long time, this is just the push I needed to get working on him. This will be the first time I paint anything larger than an ogre...

I washed him up and fixed up some bent wings yesterday...base coat going on this week!

I have two. They stay unpainted in a cabinet in the other room. Away from the other minis except Cthulhu. Now that I think about that, they may all be plotting my demise for not painting them yet.

Will I be allowed to enter a sculpt I submit for judging at Reapercon?

As long as it meets the size criteria, it doesn't matter if it is submitted for another contest durign the year.

Is Yephima big enough for this challenge? She's smaller than the other giants, but still a giant...

Yes, she would be in the 40mm to 99mm category

Thanks for the answer.... I got seriously confused because I couldn't find my post at first. @.@ I'm glad someone answered.

I'm in. I will make the diorama I planned for last year. No waiting for the figures or preparing. I may just add something small and will get more basing material.

I'll have 2 big monsters and a normal sized guy. All Reaper, and then I wanted to add another non-Reaper mini. First monster half done and a lot of time left :D

Just one question. I will build the minis into my diorama so that they can be removed and used as gaming pieces. I have 2 big minis. Could I enter each one in the single mini contest as well?

I think someone did that in the 2014 contest so i don't see why you couldn't..  anyone else have thoughts on this?
