mmmm will probably use Bones 2 models for this. Now which ones, not sure yet...

All of them.

It will be an amazing diorama.

I think you meant it'll be a freaking ma-hoo-sive diorama! :wow:

Man- is anyone else thinking we'll be seeing more than a few Terrasques this year?  Not to mention how much Dragons hate sharing.

Nope! I'm gonna be a rebel and paint stuff from the first KS! Cause I'm a slacker and haven't done it yet

You're not the only one. :upside:

On the Diorama front there are a few key points to keep in mind. The story should be obvious, in other words if you have to explain what's going on to the viewers then you need to rethink the story or how you are presenting it. As far as size, the smaller the size of the base the better. On a large base there is to much temptation to fill everything which can seriously distract the viewer from the story you are telling. This applies to the number of figures you are planning on using as well. Start with arranging all the minis you want to use on a mock up of the base (a piece of cardboard with the right dimensions is more than enough for this). Now look at it, can you "read" the story? Remove a miniature, is the story still clear? Keep doing this till you reach the point where removing a miniature ruins or makes the story unclear. Add that miniature back in. Now reduce the base size to the minimum necessary to convey the story with the key element miniatures. Anything you add after this must enhance the story; set the theme, set the time frame (or era), set the location etc.
