Yup. There are a lot of regular sized figure contests throughout the year, but only 1 big figs contest. Keep your eyes open for the normal sized contests as they creep up every few months.

Unfortunately, as explained, these are the kind of things that run a LOT on personal disposition by kind people. With MS tired, it is true there are not so many now. I remember a time we had like monthly "beauty peagent" contest, always for minis I didn't have

Judge type people have been contacted.  Waiting for confirmation back from them that they are willing to take on the task.

It actually motivated me to get things done.

I doubt if I would have finished my Maria Roseblade last year if it wasn't for this contest.

 

And I will participate this year!!!

Prizes are cool, but entering is already fun!!!

I entered more in the hopes of getting critiques from 'Judge type people' so when I work on something I plan to bring to Reapercon, I have a 'standard' to go by....

 

There are some truly awesome pieces here....

How are we on prize support for the non-Reaper category? I can put in some more if needed, considering my current financial situation.

Does that mean that judging has not started at all, or that two judges have weighed in and we need the third judge's input?

I have one judge's rankings, second judge has not gotten back to me yet and I just secured the third judge so I should have those results soon.  I gave them a deadline of the end of the month to help accommodate their schedules.  

 

Judges are DKS, Froggy and Wren
