Laoke
Remember guys - keep calm. Until they're released, the best Bryan can tell us is that they're still in customs. We've done so well keeping the rampant speculation under control this far, largely because the comms have been so good from Reaper, let's not falter at the final hurdle. Even though, just like the rest of you, the suspenders are killing me >.> Edited January 20, 2015 by Laoke
Heisler
Maybe I should start working on some of my Bones I minis now.
Reaperbryan
I was about to make the point that I never even suggested next week as a possible ship date, although some of you are giving me virtual hugs for it. It's in Customs. There's nothing I can do until it gets released, and I cannot even begin to guess when that will be with any certainty. I can say that we are most likely to be ready to ship 3-5 business days after it arrives, and right now 70% of shop resources are devoted to organization and preparation for the post-arrival start of shipping. We're trying to get as much pre-setup done as we can. But please, let us avoid rampant date/time speculation. Statistically, it will be inaccurate. Florin
I'm just hoping that they arrive before my wife gets home so that I can integrate them into my existing mess of figures. She knows they are coming but I'm not sure she understands what $300 gets you from a Bones kickstarter....... And I'm not entirely certain that my wife understands that I spent $300 on another BONES KS. Even though I've told her multiple times. Wait! How did you get by with only ordering $300 worth?!?! I'm scared what my slightly south of $550 will look like now!

Inaccurately ASSUMING you receive everything by day's end. You'll start shipping stuff this Friday! Downside is it will arrive exactly during my apartment move. I'll miss it by thiiiiiiiis much. Granted, it was a group pledge, where I "only" pledged $450.
Moderator TaleSpinner Posted January 20, 2015 Moderator Share Posted January 20, 2015 Deep breath people, deep breath. Remember that customs takes from 6 to 28 days (and could go longer), so at best you are looking at mid next week but more likely sometime in February. I'm just happy that they are all now in the same vicinity of the world.
Dontfear
That must be really nerve wracking. I would be calling customs every day to find out what the hold up is. I do not deal with things out of my control very well......

Reaperbryan
And I'm leaving for PAX Thursday morning. So even if it arrives this week, I won't be here to help with organization and testing.

I do some project management work now and frankly, I have discovered that few people will actually do anything unless I sit on them through it..... I have learned how to be extremely persistant and remain polite and cheerful whilst bugging the crap out of someone.

Testing? What testing? I don't like testing. I have barely survived my sister testing new dessert recipes, so I don't know if I can take it.
Marvin
People telling me to calm down gets me kind of agitated. And I was pretty calm before. Like, not even agitated. But as soon as all the OMG U GAIZ CALM DOWN CALM DOWN starts, well--I guess that must be my trigger. I almost kind of regret getting Bones. 20 minis is too many minis to have to paint. Oy.
Reaperbryan
We have to test the first few orders, make sure there's no bugs or flaws. If we want to process 1,500 orders a day, we need a system that's flawless.
