Rose tutorial

So, not to be a threadomancer, but I've been having to patch up a lot of Bones lately. It's amazing how bad the joins and mold lines are on some of the ones I've painted lately. I've been  using the little bitty bits of leftover GS I have to sculpt up vines and flowers and leaves, and then throwing them in an old medicine bottle.

 

Now someone just needs to do a tutorial on sculpting skulls ;).

So this may be old, but was exactly what I was looking for today. Going to do them a little bigger as bases for the wyrmling familiar.

Where was this thread when I was sculpting roses back in February?  I know I searched for one.  I ended up doing it totally differently, and my method was probably quite a bit more fiddly, as it involved sculpting the rose on the end of a wire...

I got to learn this in person at RCon 2015!  Not sure I can remember what I learned due to old age brain but yeah this is a nice resource to come back and look over if I or the daughter need it.
